If you still visit, thanks for making this mod. My only observation would be that the rapier should do slightly more damage than a dagger. So far, vendors are selling basic and enchanted rapiers (finesse plug in used), no loot drops yet.
I check very, very rarely, I must admit. But I do still check! It's kind of a hack-job. Not sure why it does more damage. I basically just added a model that can be used for generated daggers. It does its job, I guess. Still hope someone who actually knows how to mod Div:OS2 does something better with Rapiers at some point. I just saw that there's no Rapier mods at all and decided to stop waiting and at least get /something/ done. ^^"
Ah, this looks lovely! I wanted to wait with my second playthrough until larian releases a decisive gameplay update, but this... this mod justifies starting now!
Yay for Pointysticks! I started a few more games as well ever since I made this, even an MP session. I sure hope the Nexus version works as well as the Steam version. Haven't gotten any complaints yet, at least.
Works just fine for me, so far. GOG game version, most recent patch. Didn't yet make it off Fort Joy but the only "bug" I encountered was a broken sword on The Hold called Rapier, while it was rather a ruined broad sword. Well, that was the only oddity so far. No complaints from my side. :)

While it's taken me ages to come across that bug, it finally happened to me a couple of days ago in a multiplayer session, some random dagger in Act 3 being called Rapier for whatever reason. No clue how I'd really go about fixing it, but I think it's bearable.

Oops, I only really keep track of Steam, didn't notice this. Sorry. Don't worry, you're not alone! There's like 50 people on the Nexus and 1000+ people on Steam that got this mod. Amongst those, there probably are a lot of people that also love pointy swords! Also, huh. Interesting. Maybe it IS your player character. Maybe I stole them for a photosession. >:D
