It could be one of the other mods breaking it, but it definitely isn't working for me with the current Definitive game version. I just failed a 2 check when one in party has 3. He was not talking to anyone, just standing idle beside my main. Switching to him and then doing the check worked.
This image should hopefully confirm that it is installed correctly, so not to be cast off as yet another "didn't install osi" fail comment. https://i.imgur.com/I1iGSy4.png
Is there some way to confirm it is loading correctly, other than persuading successfully?
Drop it in the DefEd/bin map, it works just fine. Do the same for the achievements mod, do this one first and then the speechcraft mod. Works fine for me.
I tried putting the file in the same folder as EoCApp.exe. There was no NativeMods folder, so I made one and put the file in there. I tried putting the file in where the steam mods go.
At no point does this mod work. Character 1 has 4 persuasion character 2 remains at 0. I am playing the current steam version of the game.
"This plugin isn't for cheating,so it only takes effect on persuation (sic) dialogue check, you won't get attitude bonus from shared persuation skill."
You'll need to find a persuasion skill check to verify if it's working.
Edit: For installation, use the NativeMods folder in /bin for *.dll mods loaded at runtime.
No idea how to get this mod working...kinda new to this btw. Don't see any NativeMods folder or /bin anywhere. Do you mean the regular Mods folder near the Larian Studios one?
Clearly you might not have read properly what to do, First you download the achievements mod that he has linked in red text this gives you the NativeMod folder in the bin once you install it there. From here it's as simple as dragging the .dll file into that NativeMod folder.
Hey Hunter05, not a lot of point in trying at this juncture - at least not until the author updates to reflect changes in May 15th's update... the mod is broken even if you have installed it correctly... that said, for future reference:
1) This mod (and many other great ones by the author) requires you also have the "Achievements" mod installed as well - it's here on nexus too. Install that one first.
2) This mod, and Achievements, are installed by downloading, uncompressing, and placing the files (.dll) in the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin\NativeMods - this presumes a default Steam installation of the game... if you have non-Steam or any other, just find the installation folder of the game files... this mod and many other goods ones are "Native" mods; they appear to be ones that loaded and handled differently than "standard" ones (presumably they all load early in the process, and are NOT part of the in-game "mods" menu item/manager).
NOT to be confused with:
C:\My Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\Mods - this is where you put "standard" mods *.pak files... Standard mods are "managed" in-game from the main menu, and REMEMBER you must manually go in and enable those for them to take effect.
(Again that doesn't apply to Native Mods, as they are always "enabled")
ohh I see now, thanks for the information. Still getting acclimated to this moding stuff and the terminology. Guess I'll wait for an update and keep an eye on this one.
instructions unclear is not located here but outside this folder "Extract archives to NativeMods folder where EoCApp.exe is located." did you mean " extract archives to NativeMods folder which is located in the same folder as EoCApp.exe"? do you mean to place it in the nativemods folder or to place it in the divinity og2 folder with EoCApp.exe.

The log file isn't in NativeModLogs either
