I haven't started using it yet because I don't yet have Excel or software that will work with Excel spreadsheets, but it looks like damage is not calculated - is that correct? If it is left out of the spreadsheet, would you consider adding this as a feature? I know there are many variables included in weapons, so maybe weapon damage would be problematic to incorporate, but could Skill damage possibly be included? My apologies if you've already accounted for this, and again - great job; I really appreciate the work that went into this!
Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I thought about it, but decided that the calculation would be too complex. Skills have different basic damage, plus they can scale off of character level, attributes, abilities, weapon stats. So, as a compromise I added some damage stats, that are affected by attributes and abilities, and a basic attack calculation, depending on the chosen weapon. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1vIpv1uN5-oNQiYlr4sXQLZllMdqZvaslmQ There are no exact numbers, only percentage, but still it can be useful in planning.
Yeah I can understand, it would be nearly impossible to provide a spreadsheel that would be 100% accurate - the effect of mods alone would throw it off. But yeah absolutely, showing a percentage of damage is still useful. I'm still kind of in awe of the work that went into this; you must be very familiar with Excel and macros to have done this in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to try it out. Speaking of which, this is a bit off-topic but do you happen to know of a freeware program that will allow me to edit the spreadsheet? If not, I'll find something that will work or break down and pay a few bucks a month for Excel. Thanks for the reply; have fun storming the castles
Try LibreOffice. It is slower than MS Office (especially at opening file) and incorrectly applies Excel's conditional formatting (the spreadsheet will look a bit ugly and some hidden data will be revealed). But as far as I can see, the formulas work properly.

This is a very clean, detailed planner. I'm very impressed and applaud your thoroughness. I'll be using this as a basis while I tinker with some custom character ideas. Very much appreciated!
Open the file in Excel. On the Main sheet set the difficulty level and character’s level and race - select the cell and choose data from the drop-down list. Then you will be able to spend attribute, ability and talent points. Again, by selecting the corresponding cell and choosing data from the drop-down list or typing the values manually. Character's stats should update automatically. Additionally, you can set character's weapon, leadership of an ally, and gear stats (for attributes, abilities and vitality). For better understanding just select cells in the sheet and try to fill them in, then everything should be intuitively clear.

Perfect; thanks!

i anticipate it'll be possible to change somehow stat or another in game.
