Note that new mods will make your save take forever to load the first time. It's as if the game is rereading your entire save and checking to make sure it stays compatible with mods being removed or added. So it's not actually stopped, just super slow.
Wow, really? I realized it before with some other mods, that loading takes some extra time.. But I was waiting nearly 15 minutes and nothing happend... Hmm, I give it another try and do some other stuff meanwhile... maybe going to work or something^^
Okay so I'm trying to enable this mod in a way that doesn't disable achievements? Theoretically this should be able to be done, but I can't get the mod to work in any sort of capacity. I've tried the unpacked version, as well as unpacking the packed version. I'm putting the Mods folder in the Divinity Original Sin 2 folder, and putting Public into the Data folder. Nothings working, any help?
I did the same thing! I was hoarding my scrolls to save for 'emergencies', so as soon as someone died I just had to reload. But typically of course, no matter what fight came up it never seemed to quite qualify as an 'emergency' situation.
Very annoying when winning a fight and a lucky turn of burst damage came in and took someone out..

EDIT: However, no matter which version I use or what I modify the mod doesn't seem to function at all. Not sure what's wrong.
I've lost track of how many times I restarted a battle because a character died no matter how close I was to winning or how many res scrolls I had.
In a game without permadeath, characters should come back after a battle.
