I'd like to say Thank-You for this HD mod.It's the best out of them all,absolutely updates the game to modern graphics without changing the 'mood' of say smelter,dark and ominous feeling.Great work and thanks for the effort m8.
An msi file is a "Microsoft Installer" or part of one but there is also a cab file and an exe so you either run the exe or the msi file. The cab file is something that can often come with installation files and it's just a compression format so I imagine you download it and run either the msi file or the exe. The exe could also be a patched version of the game exe to allow it to use more than 2 gigs of ram. I thought that was against the rules here but I don't know for sure.
Either way it's one of the 2. First just extract the files into a folder on your desktop and run the exe. If nothing happens then run the msi. If nothing still happens then copy all of it into the directory the game's exe file is and overwrite the exe that's there if it asks. Then run the msi file.
I haven't downloaded it yet but that's my best guess based on the files the mod comes with.. plus it says auto installer in the title of mod lol.
