Automation doesn't stick with Cheese Maker forever unlike with Saw Table and other machines. Like, it tells me "Automation Stopped" after it loads milk even though there are still milk in the crate.
Hmm, doesn't the cheese maker not finish until the next day? If so, that's why, the automation doesn't persist after sleeping, so if it's only a machine that won't finish that day, then it stops itself after loading it.
It also does this for the billies, however, they appear like they're working but they aren't taking resources or crafting despite there being some there. I'd really love if they'd work continuously too :D.
The grill also continues to animate like it's working but it's not after running out of resources, and also needs reactivating if more items added. That's a super minor issue but thought you might want to know :D.
Can we please have a setting to change the stop from opening chests to using the poo on it again? I'd like to be able to re-open the chests :).
Any possibility to code into the cycle that one item is always left in the box, helpful for using the inventory management mod, having a target item to send to
I am confused on how to activate? The directions say that roo poo is the default activator and to use it on the crate but there is is no option to use it on it, only to open the chest and place items inside of it when holding the roo poo.
if you still can't get it to work, try putting your log file somewhere for me to look at, normally found: <DRIVE>:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dinkum\BepInEx\LogOutput.log
The output file doesn't even exist and some other mods are not working either. I'm gonna try reinstalling BepInEx manually instead of through votrex and see if that helps!
I was having this issue as well on the steam deck. In case anyone else is also experiencing this, I had to hit the right trigger for it to start (R2 by default on the deck).
I have a question. Would it be possible for you to create a mod that disables the v-sync or fps cap? I remember there was a mod like this but it is outdated and the other one is completly removed from Nexus. Also, disabling v-sync in the control panel and raising the fps cap doesn't seem to work with Dinkum. Once again thank you for all your work on the mods, cheers!
I am about to rework the one from Chill55a that was called FPS Unlock, and expect to have it out by the end of the weekend, if that is the one you are thinking of?
aww thank you anyway buddy, think at least 95% of my Dinkum mods come from you, so thanks for that too, you're pretty much single-handedly keeping the Dinkum modding scene alive lol
Well, they both use the same activation item. So, if your chest is on a quarry or den, then yes, it will activate both at the same time. Your assembly line will start, the quarry and den will be marked, and the chest will get a spike because it's in the way of a spawn tile.
I don't think keep chunks loaded has been updated or recreated since the Summer Sun Update, so I doubt very much that it will work at the moment.
I put in checks to stop the automation if the machines no longer 'exist', so you should be ok, and you'll get a notification if your Assembly Line has stopped.

The process needs to stop when a chest is opened. If the chest contents are altered while the chest is opened, it can cause errors.
Apart from that an awesome mod.
there is no visual prompt

Do not use coolers or barrels,
It spikes like Den & Ore mod

Always back up your saves, though, just in case.
I have been waiting for this
