Is there anyway to add Wary Mu nests to the list of movable objects so you can relocate them sense once you destroy a nest there is no way to get it back.
Wary Mu nests are a combination of the physical nest and a biome, so it's trickier than that. I (or someone) will eventually get around to a mod to change biomes, as well as a mod to regenerate destroyed objects, at some point.
Hello! Just installed the mod to move some trees. I have two coconut trees and the way they are facing one another forms a beautiful archway. I tried to move one just two squares to its left, but it turned to face the same direction as the other one. Can't seem to figure out how to keep the tree facing in the direction it was when I removed it to move it. Any suggestions? Thanking you in advance. :) NOTE: Sorry I posted this as reply to another user. Can't seem to delete it and not sure how to post where it should be.. :(
Sorry to be such a noob. Just added this recently but can't seem to figure out 'how' to use the mod. Is there a key stroke I'm not aware of? I love the idea of moving rocks and placing them elsewhere. Hope it's a something simple I'm just not getting.
It works with any of the old relic wheels you can dig up. Odd, but true. Just put a wheel on your toolbar, select it, and click on the object you want to move. The object will seem to be destroyed, but it's actually being stored for placement elsewhere. And, as noted on the description page, you can "grab" several objects and place them, one by one. Just be careful that you don't try to place on top of high grasses. If you do, the mod will grab the grass and add it to storage. I'm building in a pine forest, and it's really handy to move the trees away, place my buildings, and then put the trees back.
Wow I would never have thought of that. Def going to try it. Thanks so much for replying and esp TY for a mod that, to me, was sorely needed. Modders rule! Must remember the tip re the grass. All good stuff. OMG the whole idea of a workaround in a pine forest is sheer magic! Well done you. Took a moment to take in the implications of that one. WHoopee! What a game changer.
I absolutely love this mod when building, I am definitely and aesthetic person, so easily moving grass and plants etc as I build up the town really is awesome and saves haveing to replant everything!
It would also be really great if visitors could use this mod in multiplayer too (obviously having it downloaded too) as I visit my friends island and she really wants me to help her 'pretty' her place up while she is working on other stuff. Is this a feature that could ever be added to the mod? Would be amazing if it's possible :)
This game uses a host-authoritative networking model, so a lot of the time when a client does something, it doesn't actually "happen" except on their own local copy. This is not a problem for the base game because it's coded directly to work, but mods are wiggling in through the cracks and it's a real pain trying to do some stuff without access to the source code. Maybe in the future if the sync process gets easier.
Hello! Great mod for me I can't live without, but it seems register on my machine on single button click more keys than should. It seems than there is no delay between keypress test and it leads into this
https://trantor.cz/dinkum-move-rocks.jpg . On screen shot you can see single key press generated 4 key hits?. So if there is even hits then nothing happens, because item is removed and placed back. Only when register odd hits then it works as expected.
If you are using the mod "Held Interactions", it is the one causing this and you'll need to disable or remove that mod for this to not happen. If you are not using that mod, then it could be some sort of hardware issue.

Any chance you could add Oysters to the supported items?
Thanks!
