About this mod

This mod allows you to non-destructively pick up and move many objects, such as rocks, ore deposits, trees, bushes, ferns, and tall grasses, and place them down outside anywhere they will fit without having to wait for them to regrow. You can even take stuff from the deep mine to redecorate your desert.

This mod allows you to safely (as in, non-destructively) pick up and move many objects (such as rocks, ore deposits, trees, bushes, ferns, and tall grasses) that normally cannot be moved: Rocks, for example, cannot be moved at all, and fruit trees have to be cut down in one spot and planted in another (which includes waiting for them to regrow).

This is especially good for decorating, because it means you can use stuff like ore deposits as if it were furniture (but you cannot rotate it and you cannot place it inside).

If you have stripped your desert of resources like large wiggly rocks that never come back, and you wish to restore it to its previous appearance, you can go into the deep mine and pick up some new stuff and then go put it back into your desert wherever it looks good.

And if you want to start an orchard of fruit trees, or any sort of farm of bushes or cacti, instead of breaking a bunch of plants, burying seeds or starters, and waiting for them to grow, you can just run around picking a bunch of them up, then put them down at your base wherever you like and they'll still be at their previous growth state. This also allows you to rearrange an existing orchard without having to chop everything down, replant, and wait.

This mod allows you to pick up only specific objects (listed at the end) from outdoors and in the deep mine, and allows you to place things down only outdoors. It does not work on crops, and it does not change the ground type (flat grass, paths, etc.) when you remove or place things. If you place down multi-tile objects (like large wiggly rocks), they will be put back down with the same rotation they had when you picked them up.

The mod is safe to remove at any time, but if you have removed anything but not put it back down, that stuff will be completely inaccessible until you reinstall the mod.

To use the mod, hold an old wheel in your hand and use it like you would any other tool. (The wheel will not be consumed.) Use it on a supported object to pick that object up, and use it on clear ground to put it back down. You can pick up more than one object at a time, and you will put them back down in a "first picked up, last put down" order (in other words, you will always put down the thing you most recently picked up).

Any objects you have picked up but not put down will be saved when you sleep. There is no indication anywhere that you have stuff you can put down, so if you're not sure, just pick an empty spot and use the wheel: If your stored object inventory is empty, it will tell you there is nothing to put down.

This mod should work in multiplayer (but only the host will be allowed to move things). If it does not, file a bug report.

This mod requires the TR Tools modding framework to function.

This is a standard BepInEx 6 mod, so follow the standard Dinkum modding instructions and put the DLL file in your plugins folder.
