Hi! I'm trying to figure out which mod I'm using is causing this issue: when I try to open a chest in a treasure room of the emerald mines, the chest open animation plays but the UI doesn't come up. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a log I can check for errors?
So I created two bug stashes near my campsite and was able to use them just fine in the field, but then it was time to expand my camp and I wanted to build something where the two initial stashes are so I emptied them, but now I can't pick them up or destroy them. Is there any way to move them?
The bugs are just activators that tell the mod which stash you are trying to interact with. The bug tanks don't actually hold anything and aren't altered by my mod. So, some other mod or glitch is causing that problem.
This is going to sound silly but how do you open them to access the storage? I am a little lost. Lol
Edit. The poo works, but everytime I go to open the bugs it just wants to place them on the ground instead of the chest option. I am using controller for this by the way.
They have to be on the ground in order to open them. The bugs aren't actually inventories: They're just bugs still, and the mod opens an inventory that's named according to which bug you just smacked with the poo. For convenience, you can leave multiples of a bug around your island and just go over to them when you want to access them, like the Animal Crossing storage shed; Otherwise, you just put down the bug whenever you need to get to your stuff, then pick the bug back up.
