About this mod

This mod implements the idea of Minecraft's ender chests, meaning you can remotely access multiple storage stashes wherever you are, and each one is effectively 24 extra inventory slots. Use it to carry more stuff, or place access points around your island like storage sheds in Animal Crossing.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
In the game "Minecraft", you have what are called "ender chests": They work like normal containers, except the items are stored in a private stash (like a pocket dimension) connected directly to your player character, rather than the items actually being in the chest. This means you can pick up and carry around the container for access wherever you go, because the items are not technically in it, and you can have more than one container at the same time that accesses the same inventory.

(2.0.0 update) -- This mod has been reworked to be compatible with the TRTools modding framework (and also requires it). Save data are now stored in its format, and your existing save data will be auto-converted. (Back up your entire save slot! Don't lose your data to an undiscovered bug!) The first time you sleep after updating, your "Ender Chest Bugs" directory will be deleted because it will be no longer necessary.

One use case for this is to expand your personal inventory, either to carry more loot (particularly useful in the deep mine, or on a long gathering expedition, though the usual limitation of no fish or bugs still applies) or to carry spare tools and supplies, without clogging up your actual inventory.

Another use case is similar to the storage shed in Animal Crossing, where you can place them down at various spots around your island and have access to the same goods or supplies, and can even carry one around with you to put down wherever you happen to be standing.

This mod uses the same functionality of the "travel bag", meaning the inventory is directly tied to your own save, which should mean (but does not guarantee) that this will work in multiplayer because other players can't interact with your stuff anyway.

The mod itself can be safely uninstalled at any time without destroying your save file, but without the mod installed you will not be able to access your ender chest stashes. If you reinstall the mod, you will have access to your stuff again.

The stashes save just like normal when sleeping. Until you sleep, the contents are not written to disk.

These ender chests are implemented using bug tanks (bugs placed on the ground in the plastic containers) and roo poo. Each type of bug has its own secret stash, so there is a stash for the queen bee, one for the fly, one for the stink bug, and so forth. Any bug will do: Multiple different flies will all access the fly's secret stash. In order to open the stash, use a roo poo on the bug tank. (The poo will not be consumed.)

So, for remote access to your stuff, you will want to carry around any bugs you have stored stuff with, plus a poo. If you find yourself wandering outside and suddenly need more inventory space, you can look around for some poo and catch any kind of bug. Just remember to empty out the bug's stash when you get home, or you might forget there is stuff in there.

Be careful about using seasonal bugs for storage: If you sell your last bug of a certain species, you won't be able to access that bug's secret stash until the appropriate season comes around again and you can catch a new one. But if you always make sure to keep at least one of every single bug in the game, that's how many stashes you will have, so it's "number of bug types" times 24 slots of storage.

This is a standard BepInEx 6 mod, so follow the standard Dinkum modding instructions and put the DLL file in your plugins folder. You can turn off the mod's functionality by removing the mod, but remember to empty out all of your ender chests first, or that stuff will remain inaccessible until the mod is reinstalled.
