just to expand on what clockwork said, its best to just be above ground out in the open worlds: not in the mines, any buildings, elevator, etc.
an important note that i discovered: if you hot save with this or the debug save tool i assume, any items placed on a non active hotbar if you are using https://www.nexusmods.com/dinkum/mods/126?tab=posts will not be saved and will be lost. be sure to have ample backups such as with trtools or whatnot, to restore earlier saves if anything important is lost. (it adds equiv of 4x6 button hotbars, but only the active hotbar at the time of saving will be saved...this does not apply to normal saves when u sleep...i tested) ;)
I would like to offer a word of EXTREME CAUTION regarding the save anywhere function of this mod. If I'm correct in assuming that it simply runs the existing save debug command, you can destroy your save if you use it in any of a number of situations, including but not limited to swimming, being in the air, being in the mines, etc.
Do note that I haven't experienced this myself, so I'm passing on word of mouth, but it goes without saying that you should BACK UP YOUR SAVES before using anything like this.
It would be delightful if the mod developer warned people properly about this in the description.
Edit: The mod has been updated with this in mind! Happy modding!
Mod doesn't seem to work too well. The F11 is bound to a Steam shortcut, so all it does is bring up the Steam overlay. There's no config file to adjust anything if needed. The keyboard shortcut to collect all mail SEEMS to work, but it's in Mandarin which I can't read so unfortunately, this mod has been deleted for me. As useful as it would have been, especially with the save anytime feature, it's no use when half doesn't work and half is in a language I can't read :/
Of course! I should add, this mod carries those same risks. You can ruin your save file with this. That said, you *can* rebind the Steam Overlay itself, if you want to risk it. I'd personally advise against it, but if you do, back up your save first. Happy modding! ^^
Thanks for reporting! I have uploaded a new English version with added configuration file and modified default shortcut keys. You can download the latest version at any time! ^^
