"Diggles Forever" - Visuals Overhaul for Diggles - The Myth of Fenris

Many, many years ago there was a game on the PC where you led a small clan of dwarves to fight Fenris.
The game was then called "Wiggles" in German-speaking countries and was released in 2001.
On December 14th, 2020 the title was published again digitally on Steam and GoG
and this time it is based on its original name "Diggles: The Myth of Fenris".

ReShade supports all of Direct3D 9, Direct3D 10, Direct3D 11, Direct3D 12 and OpenGL.
A computer with Windows 7 SP1, 8.1 or 10 and the DirectX end-user runtime installed is required.

Install if necessary: NET Framework 4.8

Install: ReShade

Run setup tool, Follow instructions, Select a game:
C:\GOG Games\Diggles The Myth of Fenris\Diggles.exe
with Direct3D10 /11/12

I still use legacy standard effects. Why? Because I like them!

Select effect packages to install:
- Standard effect is already switched on
- select SweetFX by CeeJay
- select legacy standard effects

This is important, otherwise "Diggles Forever" will not work properly !

Before you close the setup tool,
switch on "Skip tutorial" and "Performance Mode".
Then everything should start automatically.
Close setup tool

Install "Diggles Forever":
- Insert "Diggles Forever" ReShade file in the program folder:
ReShade 4.7
C:\GOG Games\Diggles The Myth of Fenris\DefaultPreset.ini (exe is located)
ReShade 4.9
C:\GOG Games\Diggles The Myth of Fenris\ReShadePreset.ini (exe is located)

Start Game:
ReShade 4.7 starts automatically the first time (screen info above left)
and should take over "Diggles Forever" (DefaultPreset.ini) completely and after a short loading time.
Depending on the system, this is very quick and can lead to short stuttering.

ReShade 4.9 starts automatically the first time (screen info above left)
and should take over "Diggles Forever" (ReShadePreset.ini) completely and after a short loading time.
Depending on the system, this is very quick and can lead to short stuttering.

If it does not load: start it via the selection window in the ReShade menu.
Open with "pos 1"

About this game
Accompany your Wiggles clan on an endless adventure. Raise your wiggles in a world full of surprises, dangers and discoveries.
