Very neat idea! I would love to change things into other charm forms as well. Some great stats feel a little much like a cheat putting it into a small charm.
You’re right, it’s very unbalanced. My initial thought was that requiring 4 perfect gemstones would limit the number of charms players could create and encourage them to farm for gemstones, making the process more engaging. However, maybe it would be better to change it to a grand charm instead.
Is it possible to have options for the base armor/weapon type? To be honest, while it's really cool to make some broken builds with this, I'd love more than anything to not be stuck with ugly looking helms. My poor bone break strafe amazon is stuck with some burger king looking grossness right now, and it irks me lol. Would love to just take the Corona stats and switch it to a diadem or a tiara.
Hi :) - In version 1.0.1, I added helmet options so you can choose between the Mask, Death Mask, Demonhead or Circlet, Tiara, or Diadem - finally giving your Amazon the stylish headgear she deserves! Your bone break strafe Amazon will be slaying in style from now on.
Hi! My "Item convert" mod is focused on item conversion and doesn't include features for modifying mercenaries. For mercenary-related changes or enhancements, you should look into the core features of the Eastern Sun mod itself, which adds new mercenary sets and gear options but isn't directly connected to this mod. If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a message - I’ll be happy to help!
Copy my mod folder to your mods directory, for example:
D:\D2RMM 1.7.3\mods\ItemConvert
D2RMM should now detect both mods.
Ensure that "Eastern Sun Resurrected" is at the top of the mod load order. This is important so that my mod can override or patch it correctly.
2) Using My Mod with Eastern Sun
I tested this yesterday in Eastern Sun Resurrected. The main difference is that Eastern Sun adds an extra type of gemstone, so the progression is: chipped, flawed, normal, flawless, blemished, and perfect.
In the base game, I use chipped, flawless, and perfect gems for recipes. However, in Eastern Sun, you need to use chipped, flawless, and blemished gems instead of perfect gems for the recipes to work as intended.
Please note: Ring and amulet conversions do not always produce the expected results. Sometimes, you may receive class-specific rings or amulets. I have not found a solution for this issue yet.

I tested it, and it worked for me using a grand charm and a perfect gemstone. Does any conversion work, or does none work at all?
edit: it would be very cool to change set item into charm :D
I added the conversions
in version 1.0.2.
