Could you add a file with x1 (original d2) for when we wanted to turn off the mod. I know I prob should have saved a copy of the files that were being changed, but I didn't and it would be helpful.
Edit: Found a workaround. 1. Open the monstats.txt file from this mod in afjsheet or excel 2. Open the monstats.txt file from you game installation folder afjsheet or excel 3. Copy the values of the colums MinGrp and MaxGrp from the mod and paste them in the other.
Its possible to merge this mod with another mod like D2 Resurgence or Zamodia ? i'm trying to but nothing work as intended
EDIT : its impossible to extract data with cascview, there is always error and it always extract only like 1400000 on 1700000 files so i tried to add manually with another mpq editor "import" the data in the mpq to replace the existing one (only the .bin is replaced the .txt is added) and i launch the mod no change happen so i try to launch it again with -direct -txt and it crash without even starting
Maybe their issue is different, but when I use CSC viewer to extract the files, it says about 40,000 out of 160,000 files cannot be extracted. If I continue on with the instructions and try to run the game with the modified command line, it crashes.
Does this break if you do /players 8? I changed it to x50 and I'm not seeing anything other than normal. I'm using the SP mod btw, I altered the Monster.txt file in your x10 and changed the min and max grp of the mobs to x50 and then changed the monster.txt file in the SP mod .mpq file. I'm not seeing any increase in mobs, it seems like it vanilla. Any help would be appreciated.
I don't know what the issue is and I'm not skilled enough to find out. But you got hella balls on you for wanting to /players 8 with 50x monsters my man
You can make this mod work with the betterSP MPQ by pasting the 2 files into the directory of that mod, and then adding "-txt" at the end of the mod-shortcut behind the "-mod Karla". So the full add-on at the end of the directory path has to be "-mod Karla -txt".
Worked for me, but doesn't work if you do not add the -txt part.
did you adjust any other monster stats besides turning up spawns to x4 x10 etc?
im using x4 and the monsters seem way weaker than they should be and also trying to curse them as a necromancer does not seem to work at all at least with amplify damage
I didn't do a TON of digging but from what I saw in the Diff it appears the only thing different is the 4 columns here:
PartyMin, PartyMax: how many minions are spawned together with this unit. As mentioned above in the MINION1/2 columns, this controls the quantity of minions this unit has. MinGrp MaxGrp: exactly like the previous two columns, just that this controls how many units of the base unit to spawn. In versions 1.00-1.06, setting the minimum to more then 99 would crash the game.
Original docs on these values can be found here: https://d2mods.info/forum/kb/viewarticle?a=360
Could it be you were using some other mod that made monsters harder? Just spitballing here, mobs seem to be the same difficulty for me. Although keep in mind I'm not using this mod directly, I am using this in combination with Massive Merge mod and some of my own local tweaks.

Keeps showing me an error.
Trying to extract to the same drive as the game as well as running it with and without admin.

Can you add stash and cube expansion to your mod...
All i want, expanded stash and cube together with more enemies.
