I'll make a D2RMM port of this once I finish the next update for my loot filter. I asked the dev to collaborate on a D2RMM release but he didn't respond so I'll be releasing it under my own name.
EDIT: I have since learned that this idea was originally developed by Bonesy and he shared how to do it in a tutorial on his YouTube page. I'm approaching him for permission to use it.

How it's going? I can see some other people are waiting as well.
    5. So did you make it?
    6. Guys just extract the data folder from color dye and copy it on D2RMM.mpq data folder inside Diablo 2 Resurrected/mods

Yes this does work, however it stops any other custom cube recipe you have installed from working, which is a real bummer unfortunately, hopefully it can be integrated, I have lots of free time atm, if I can help, let me know!

Ps. I really love this mod, it's exactly the kind of customization I like

Haven't gotten around to it yet, but it's still in the back of my head.

EDIT: started development today (27/02/2024)! Source/progress at GitHub.
I've implemented generating 4 out of the 5 files but now I'm stuck at cubemain.txt, which has 224 newly added complex cube recipes which look like they were auto-generated using code, so I contacted the original developer (Bonesy) for help.

Compare the files in this mod to the original data, then write javascript using the D2RMM library to make the changes in the D2RMM-way.

If you want to use the color dye system I made, then please utilize it from D2RLaunch; it's a QoL Option that can be freely toggled as desired.
This "mod" was released without my knowledge, and using files from one of my other mods, "Vanilla++".
Therefore, using the "correct" implementation available via D2RLaunch will solve many of the issues you experience.
