Long Description:
Ever felt like your windows of the soul about to be exploded, just because you hold down the Dragon Talon skill button, or another helpless soul behind a screen feeling the exact same thing? Well, no more, I said. With this mod, I replace the Vfx's of our godly kick sin with an easier time to handle for all the overheated GPUs out there in Sanctuary. These vfx's, to be specific:

File Name: missiles.json
Location: data\hd\missiles\

-Vanilla-
"fistsoffireexplode":"exp_arrow_explode","fistsoffirefirewall":"ground_fire_small","clawsofthunderbolt":"charged_bolt","clawsofthundernova":"electric_nova","bladesoficeexplode":"ice_arrow_explode","bladesoficecubes":"ice_break_small","bladesoficecubesmelt":"ice_break_small_melt","royalstrikemeteor":"meteor","royalstrikemeteorcenter":"meteor_target_indicator","royalstrikemeteortail":"meteor_tail","royalstrikemeteorexplode":"exp_arrow_explode","royalstrikemeteorfire":"ground_fire_small","royalstrikechainlightning":"royalstrikechainlightning","royalstrikechaosice":"ice_bolt"

-Modded-
"fistsoffireexplode":"null","fistsoffirefirewall":"vampirefirewallmaker","clawsofthunderbolt":"warshrike_missile","clawsofthundernova":"balanced_knife_missile","bladesoficeexplode":"null","bladesoficecubes":"teethexplode","bladesoficecubesmelt":"ice_break_small_melt","royalstrikemeteor":"arrow","royalstrikemeteorcenter":"arrow_in_ground","royalstrikemeteortail":"arrow","royalstrikemeteorexplode":"teethexplode","royalstrikemeteorfire":"ground_fire_small","royalstrikechainlightning":"expansion_bladefury"","royalstrikechaosice":"missile_dagger"

Note: for some reason, if you change the structure of the missiles.json file (adding line breaks, spaces between letter, etc. etc...), the file will be COMEPLETELY break, resulting the mod would never work, well, at least no matter what I tried. This is the sole reason I made this mod, more details below.

Disclaimer: I was never a Json guy. The only kind of computer language I've ever learned, is from high school, where I practice pascal, which is the equivalent of hitting 2 rocks together in comparison. I'm just a guy, who knows 1+1=2, and how to hit ctrl+f to find some texts and replaces them with other texts. Most of these edits were NOT my own conscious choice. Most of them were taken DIRECTLY from a mod called 모자씬 이펙트 (or Mosaic Sin Effect) on Inven.co.kr - which is a Korean modding site. The mod might have worked with other soft requirements, but due to the fact that the page was written entirely on Korean, inside knowledge and inside jokes, a Vietnamese like me would have absolutely no clue of what is what. So, I rewritten the whole mod based on his work, in a way that worked for my game, and hopefully yours. So, some of his original edits might have been lost in translation, here and there. Due to that fact, if you find any hardship while using, bugs or Vfx's that was not covered, please, do let me know. I will do everything in my power to fix, improve and better the mod for you and my own shake, since I too needed it really, really bad.
As of version 1.3 and up, the mod was vastly improved by the mod author and tutorial maker, locbones, aka Bonesy, author of mods like Expanded Storage (with Merc Equip), Vanilla Plus Plus, Remodded, and the famous mod launcher D2RLaunch. You can find his D2R mod writer’s discord server here.
Thank you, again, mr Bonesy, for doing the god’s work of writing 2 whole json file for a helpless, json-less soul such as I. Your work will forever be remembered, in all our hearts and mods.

Regarding D2RMM:
Like I said, never a Json guy, so D2RMM is a concept wayyy beyond me. BUT, I do know the mod FileLoad for D2RMM exist. Infact, I have used it for many moons before writing this mod. SO, I have made a dirty conversion of this mod for D2RMM.

Warning:
Due to the dirty nature of the conversion, if you use this mod with another mod that edit the file missiles.json, the other mod might be unable to install, or worse, both mods will not work. I don’t know, I’m not a doctor. But you have been warned, and that’s all that matters.

Credit:
메롱777 for the original mod and edits (the file named 닌자 -or Ninja-)
Qd0t for the mod FileLoad (D2RMM converter and modding utility)
locbones for the 2 json files "ground_fire_medium.json" and "ground_fire_small.json".
Notepad for being a life savior to an idiot who edit a json on such a primitive program.
Code Writer on Microsoft Store for being a pain in the back for this specific missiles.json file, but a gigantic help on others.
Microsoft 365 for the proofreading of this page.

Thank you for your time and immeasurable patience. Wish you a wonderful, wonderful day, and stay safe, dearest traveler.
