I played all the way to act 4 normal, with the increased monster density, without finding a single unique item, not even with an edited char with 700mf farming Mephisto. After disabling it, found 2 uniques. Obviously I didn't expect it to make changes so elite items drop from normal difficulty monsters.. but I didn't foresee that it would kill the drops altogether, something maybe worth a disclaimer?
I'm not exactly sure why this happens, but this mod is causing drops to be no longer random. If I have this mod active and I do say 100+ LK runs, every container I pop, drops the exact same item. When I do 100+ Andy or Meph runs, they drop about 10 different items, but always the same ones.
Also using Increased droprate, doesn't the "Chance of High Quality Item Dropping" do the same thing as this mod technically ?
"High quality" is basically an item dropping as a superior, which applies some bonuses to base stats. This is entirely different. Each item base has three variations, normal, exceptional and elite, for example for monarch shields, monarch is the elite type, dragon shield is the exceptional, and kite shield is the normal version.
