In case people have trouble using this with a mod.
Don't forget to use the SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i file from the mod folder in your saved game files.
In my case I'm using mods via Diablo 2 Mod Manager. My save game files are in the default location. So I open C:\Users\yourUserName\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected\mod\D2RMM and I use the SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i file in there. And yes, you can use it after you already have a character in a modded game, you don't need to start a new one.
Solved the issue for me with the merc mod. I was using the unlocker for that mod to unlock expanded stashes and my extra stashes would not work, and now they do. Thank you :)
For everyone wondering, because I know there will be many others who come to this post sections confused... THIS DOES NOT IMMEDIATELY ADD STASH TABS. You HAVE to extract and edit both image files and Bankexpansionlayout.json.
Thankfully, HighTechLowIQ on youtube a few years ago has provided 2 videos that more or less get you where you need to go, both being here, and here. If anyone can teach me how to get from an extracted file structure that you drop into a premade d2rmm folder, and make that a d2rmm compatible mod, I will upload just a normal 8 tab bank mod that asks you to use this alongside it.
But yeah, this isnt something that just adds 4 more tabs to your stash, there are some caveats, and it took me about an hour or two to figure out but eventually it does work.
I successful add 4 stash tabs, however i can not use it. While the mouse icon stop at the tabs, it says" can not use this stash tab at now ", also you couldn't open it. Did i miss something?

Couldn't figure out why the added tabs said "not available", turns out I was using the wrong SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i file.
Download the mod, doesn't seem to matter where you place the mod, I put it in my D2RMM mods folder.
Install .NET 3.1.32 from Microsoft Website - https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/runtime-desktop-3.1.32-windows-x64-installer
Copy and Paste "%USERPROFILE%/Saved Games/Diablo II Resurrected" into your file explorer to navigate to your "SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i" file.
Drag and drop that file onto your "D2R StashTabEnabler.exe" wherever you placed it. A command prompt should pop-up, type 4 and press enter.
Profit:

Just drop your "SharedStashSoftCoreV2.d2i" or "SharedStashHardCoreV2.d2i" to the program and choose the number of tabs you want to unlock (7 max).
