For me the cutscenes are right side up by default, but the audio crackles. If yours is the same as mine, remove "-vf vflip" from the script/manual command to not flip the video upside down.

Followed the instruction, forced proton 8.0.5, first cinematic is having audio problem and other cinematic are slowed down and have no audio,  while on different versions of proton audio is fine but video is upside down

any ideas what might be causing it ?
EDIT: fixed the issue by running the scrip provided to do it manually, script has  been modified to not flip the video now game runs perfectly while using GE-Proton9-13

Can confirm this works. You want your original video files (I just deleted the data folder and had steam re-download them)

The you go into the script and remove -vf vflip.

I was trying to use this fix, but the terminal gives me the error: mv: cannot stat '*.mp4': No such file or directory
This is on a fresh install of the game with the original video files after experiencing the same upside-down video issue. Any advice on what I'm doing wrong would be hugely appreciated!

My cutscenes don't appear at all when I extract the video files from the main file or when I use a script manually. Any idea why this could be? I tried it on several versions of proton. (I am trying to play DMC3 within the HD Collection)

Hello, for what I understand this fix only the pre rendered files? bc when the goes go for the in-game cinematics in my case still haves the issue of the audio being delayed. I have the proton 8.0.5 and I followed the instructions.

tried it out and yes the cutscenes work indeed, but the mirror is still there and looking at the video files of the zip the video is flipped there too, is there something wrong with the zip or should i do something else aside from just copy and pasting the the data file? (im using proton as everyone else says)

Would this sort of fix on MGS2 videos? They are in an obscure codec
