About this mod

Costume for Nero with Deus Ex and Cyberpunk vibes. Includes headphones.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Update v2.0 = Removed file bloat and added mod pack version.
Update v1.1 = fixed the issues with the face and arms some people were experiencing. If you've downloaded the files previously and had these issues, check the optional files section to download the update. If you're new, you can just grab the main file.

This started out as a simple jacket mod, but then I needed something to fit in with the breaker system, and then more and more ideas kept coming to me and I ended up with this.

Replaces Nero's default costume, along with several other things:

1) Sleeveless jacket
  • Comes in 2 variations - Urban and Slayer. Urban is what you think it is (just camo). Slayer is in the style of 2077, with a demonic red decal on the back and kanji characters that say something like "Devil May Cry" (not literally)
2) Augmented right arm - taken from a certain interpol agent
3) Dermal plating and cybernetics on the left arm and head
4) New pair of pants with an extra iron
5) A pair of Nevan brand headphones in Nero's colour

The mod pack includes the following:
  • Slayer - main file. Install this first before installing the addons
  • Jacket only addon - Removes the headphones. You can install this with the Urban retexture addon
  • Urban retexture addon - Urban camo retexture. Install Slayer first before installing this. You can use this with the Jacket only addon if you don't want the headphones
  • Face addon - changes the face to the one with the cybernetics

There's also a standalone augmented face version in case you want to mix it up with other costume mods that don't change the face.

***The standalone face and the face addon (in the mod pack) won't be compatible with Nero Shades mod (the one by NekoZerp), or other Nero mods that change the face***

Mods that change the eyes should be fine though.

Fluffy Manager
1. Download and install the most recent version of Fluffy's mod manager.2. Drag and drop the mod rar to Fluffy Manager's mods folder ([mod manager folder]\Games\DMC5\Mods) then open the manager and install.

SSSiyan's Collaborative Cheat Trainer
Probably won't work if you try to install this with asset swapper. Use Fluffy Manager instead.

  • You'll notice some clipping here and there, mostly with the face augs during gameplay (cutscenes are fine) and the headphones. It's not too bad, but if you're an expert in animations and weight painting and wanna improve it, be my guest. You'll be in the credits of course.

  • Vainiuss1 for his clean/simplified Nero template
  • Kinokashi - Odogaron beta helmet art
  • Dragon Child for the Jensen pieces
  • The DMC modding community (Infernal Warks) for helping me figure out and fix various bugs I've encountered with this project
