Could you make all of the other yamato effects the dark dmc4 blue and do the same with SDT and clone?

Is it possible to make the force edge effect transparent black like in DMC4SE?

Could you also please make the Beowulf attack colours into that same beautiful blue colour as the Yamato? I would love you forever.

As a suggestion, would you be willing/able to use the purple Yamato VFX for Mirage Edge as a separate file to the white VFX?

I'm thinking of coming out with a standalone vfx mod for multiple weapon vfx colors.

Could someone tell me which files stand for the sin devil trigger transformation effect? I'd like to use the vanilla effect, because when I transform back from SDT to human form, the effect is not blue but a white/yellowish color. (There are too many files under the SDT transformation effect and I'd like to keep the darker yamato VFX color on the sword's sheet when I do the judgement cut.
    Edit: Found it, 34 35 36 and I believe 37 as well.
Now I just need to find judgement cut end files lol. (Also found the files, or rather the effect that gives the slow down but not the purple cut effect.)

Just delete the vfx within the yamatovfx files. For help, check the readme on my mod page

it is possible to change the flames to the same vfx? so for mirage edge the flames would be white so it fits better

What tools do you use to edit the colors? Is this convoluted hex editing like in 4/4SE?

Wow, thanks! I didn't even know this *existed*.

Is there some rhyme or reason to how many colors need to be assigned for each file? And would there be some way to check the default color codes for a given effect? I was going to try to swap Yamato to use Beowulf's default FX colors (the nice purple) and just turn Beowulf yellow/white like in 4SE. I tried searching this up myself but can't find any documentation on the tool.

In the tool, when it ask for the amount of colors, type in 1. If you type in 2 or more, it'll color in a pattern. (So if you have 3 colors, Red Blue and Green, for each 1st file it'll color it Red, 2nd file it'll color it Blue, each 3rd color Green, etc.)
Color codes are just in hex. Most of the time, it only uses standard colors so you can't really get specifics like Indigo or Emerald for example.

Awesome, thanks for the info! Last question: do you know of any guides/tutorials I could follow for setting up the proper folder structure for the edited files? I can edit the colors easily enough but have no idea how to pack them into an actual usable mod.

Best bet is to follow my mods folder structure.
