For anyone who is having trouble installing the mod make sure you do the following things: 1: Get The latest version of the fluffy mod manager 2: Uninstall all mods and then click "Re-read game archives" in the manager 3: The following message should not appear on the top left corner when hovering over the mod
4: A successful installation should look like this (bottom left corner):
if it doesn't please tell what exactly shows for you
Idk if you're interested in updating your older mods, but can you make color variants of this mod? like you did with your Beowulf mod for Dante, use those colors for Vergil's, and like JudgementTrigger said, make an optional file that has a DMC3 white glow, and also make the glows matching for every color made
What does it say in the bottom left corner when you install the mod? It should say "Copied 13 files." and "Modified 13 paths in game archives." If not, try re-reading the game archives and extract the mod and make sure to remove the rar after that
Amazing mod! Thank you so much! I personally use this with the Vergil SDT Blue effect mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycry5/mods/932. Looks awesome together!
Mod doesn't work. Installed it with fluffy mod manager on the latest update, same beowulf in game. extracted the folder, doesn't work. Used the folder inside of the extracted one, still doesn't work.
UPDATE: I extracted, went all the way down to the last files and archived it into a rar file with the name DMC4 Beowulf for Vergil-943-v1-0-1608127449.rar. It worked after that, I shouldn't have to do it but here we are.
It works perfectly fine on my end and for the majority of people, so probably I wont make any changes. There are mods with the same file structure that work and some that don't, so I don't know what exactly is the problem other than it's related to the Fluffy manager. Usually deleting the numbers that nexusmods gives to the archives' name fixes it for me.

Any suggestion?
Please fix this issue.
Anyway so you can't change the file path? I'm guessing it differentiates with each mod then.
After extracting it, it was still in a folder. I had to remove it from said folder and it worked.
