To the point where I believe it was my most played game of the entire DMC franchise for at least a few years. I'm pretty sure DMC one is still my favorite but dmc2 has a special place in my heart so thank you for making this.
I don't know if the Vergil update caused it or if it was always like this, but when you get covered in blood, or step in the blood at the statue during the "Yamato" mission, Dante's limbs literally disappear.
Alright, so guys. I had a REVELATION today. I found out the mod still works perfectly fine. But, only if you delete all of the .mdf files in the .rar Yeah, that's it. Leave everything else though, the mesh files, the .tex files, don't touch those. Just delete the .mdfs and it works perfectly fine.
Well it still works WITH the mdfs. Just with some obvious bugs like limbs disappearing when covered in blood. Removing the .mdfs fixes this for whatever reason.
Do you ever plan on changing the material? Vergil's outfit in 5 is pristine and long like Dante from DMC 2 but his clothes don't wrinkle the same way at all. It looks much nicer. Dante's clothes in 2 looked very pristine.
Hello! I wanted to request a Alucard (Hellsing) mod for DMCV, but had no idea where to go. So Im just gonna copy paste this message around different mod forums to hopefully generate interest. I believe I have some good ideas to make this mod as easily as possible but given my envy for the ability to mod I have no way of knowing how practical they would be.
DMC2 Reb looks gorgeous. DMC2 Dante looks 5/10, mainly because the torso and sleeves are really saggy when the outfit should be more form-fitting. The skull belt buckle also looks bad, it's just stretched wide and looks practically nothing like the original design.
I assume you don't have a decent reference pic to work from, so here you are! https://imgur.com/mJyore1
In short, I think you should really fix the saggy cloth and make it tighter around the torso and the arms first before worrying about the strap around the chest. Overall it's decent work, but you can make it amazing. Keep it up!
Yeah originally I didn't want to touch the coat or the belt since it's someone else's work and personally I really like what they did. I am looking into seeing how I can make it more faithful to the DMC 2 version though, since that seems to be a complaint from numerous people. As for the reference picture,, I've had that saved on my computer for the past couple weeks while I've worked on this.

So, that's a thing. Until you dry off again.
Crazy right?
Can't wait!
