That's how game handles rendering the game. More light - more things to render, less light - less things to render. M19 and m20 lighting really are enemies for performance xD
Pretty sure it's because this mod somehow enables in-game camera-based motion blur, which is cutscene-only in the vanilla game. I've benched the FPS with/without the mod, and it was the same. The motion blur is pretty easily noticeable as well.
For a more dark and cinematic look I wanted to fight vergil/dante with the nighttime mod but it is forever stuck on the loading screen and never finishes loading. Is there any fix for these missions or is it a lost cause?
The light in the scene where Vergil splits into Urizen and V looks very much like DMC3 because it's a very nice night and there's a moon, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible because it contains house textures?
unrelated to the mod but can i ask how John Fleer disrespected the modding community? cause i know he makes "trailers" and adds "CAPCOM" to alot of titles but i didn't think much of it. is that it or is there much more to it?

Long story short: Now he less disrespectful, but there was time when he stole content from Capcom, use footage from other youtubers and modifies(just copy-paste files from one mod to another) other people works and then click-baits its as secret or extra stuff hidden by Capcom and other shit. He's not that bad, but i don't want him to use any of my works. And half of modders thinks the same
There is no way. It's video of friend of mine and he just edited that moment so it's looks like there is transition. So, to clarify: There are no mods that dynamically changes lighting. It was just video edit.
