I've done the extra steps multiple times, however I can't seem to get it to work. I've downloaded another mod (Black Attire for Nero) to see if I had done something wrong regarding the mod manager and that mod works fine. However, your mod doesn't seem to register for some reason. Anyone else experiencing this, or have a solution?
Crew Cut finally took some notes! This mod is pretty god damn awesome, though quick question. Is it possible to have this as a single costume? (eg, the ex version only), or does model swapping make this impossible?
Its for Normal Dante. Sadly as far as I can tell both skins use the same base model for the body, just a re-texture.
So for example with the mod on if you pick EX Dante you get a textureless Crew Cut

Open Modmanager, go to manage mods tab, uninstall the solider mod if you have it still checked with the green checkmark, then click Re-read game archives
I think the patch confuses the manager. Then reinstall it. It's what I had to do to get it working.
