That's on purpose, Boss Vergil first attack on DT YMT has a smaller ring on the base game, my version of the boss attacks is trying to be faithful to the original, apart from a few extras efx
I don't plan to, I only made the faithful Yamato effects because no one did it before and I already was touching the VFX so that was a bonus. there's no need to change the other effects thanks to other modders that already did this before, so there is nothing else to change, and their versions don't need to be adjusted to be the same as the boss.
could you make accurate judgment cut end boss version? you know the afterimage with jce from other modders...
sometime is not really same as boss version like the bubble jce aura is really big (meanwhile the real boss is not really large) also the afterimage jce too much fast

According to my observations, it is basically impossible to achieve this. This is because the player version of Vergil uses the same static afterimage specification as Nero, while the boss Vergil uses the DMC4 afterimage that moves with the body and is also mixed with the static afterimage specification. This is no longer something that can be accomplished by simply replacing special effects. Even if the afterimages of the boss are replaced like the previous modules made by others, the number of afterimages and the static state of the afterimages still cannot be changed! Moreover, the after-image group of JCE that I used to observe after slowing down was also a static after-image group.
To put it simply, everything used by the player version of Vergil and the boss version of Vergil are completely different except for the model and movements.

I really like the first mod you posted:(Vergil Restored Yamato Trails). In fact, the boss Vergil is really poor in terms of completion. Many of the action special effects were taken directly from Dante and Nero. For example, Combination A of the Sin Devil Trigger uses Dante's scary dance macavre effects with changed colors, and the two stunt dodges also use Nero's table hopper special effects. On the contrary, none of the action special effects of Dante and Nero are the same. Excellent work, one thing: when attempting to use the SDT only trails with Boss VFX, most of Vergil's VFX reverts to the Player versions. The trails work properly though.
i know you are very busy fixing this mod with all of these requests but when you can and if you want is there a way to make the trail more rounder or like actually following the movement of the blade, because in the video it's clear that sometimes it goes straight instead of following the blade

trails work properly though.
the trail effects are tied to FPS, the higher the FPS, the rounder they become.
