Note: Volume offset in Resident Evil is different to DMC 5. I've tried following the instructions mention in the website where I have to change the volume offset to 0. This didn't work in my case. I have to change the floating point number to 1 which is 0000803F in hex. Look for the duration of the song and change the volume offset from 0 to 1 to make this work. You can also change the point where the song starts to use the volume offset.
1. Tutorial on How to Add Music Preview Requirements (Won't go over them in detail): - wwiseutilgui to replace wem files for music previews (Same as replacing battle tracks) - RingingBloom to convert wav to wem files, you can use this for replacing music as well. (I won't go over this in detail because this is easy to update pck files) - REtool (extracting patch 005 vergil update using extract-pak. YOU NEED TO UNINSTALL MODS THROUGH FLUFFY MOD MANAGER BEFORE DOING THIS)
Editing music through audacity, converting to wem files, etc is straightforward. Won't go over them in detail.
Assuming you extracted the patch 005 files. look for the bgm_system.pck.3.x64. Copy that and paste it somewhere in your folder.
Note: Notice there are 2 different file sizes on bgm_system.pck.3.x64 from the game directory's streaming folder and the sound folder. What I like to do is having 2 different folders, streaming and sound. Copy the pck file from the game directory's streaming folder and paste it in my streaming folder. Then copy the pck file from the game directory's sound folder and paste it in my sound folder
open up wwiseutil and now you can replace wem files. I'll list them the ID for you here ID: - 28007151: Shoot the Works - 86218175: Sworn Through Swords - 106458058: Battle-1 - 150540065: Fire Away - 338950011: Wings of Guardian - 340179584: Vergil Battle-2 - 354142631: Lock and Load - 559529323: Devils Never Cry - 624491349: Lock and Load Blackened Angel Mix - 654976205: Ultra Violet - 905095996: Public Enemy - 1069168393: The Time Has Come
Save your pck file and rename it. What i liked to do here is naming my file as bgm_systemstreaming.pck in my streaming folder and bgm_systemsound.pck in my sound folder. Notice that after replacing the wem files, both have different file sizes. Make sure you copied your pck files to different folders. For example, copying your pck file from your streaming folder and pasting it in your mod directory's streaming folder, etc.
2. Tutorial on How to Add Background Images in Gallery Jukebox Requirements (Won't go over them in detail): - REtool (extracting patch 005 vergil update using extract-pak. YOU NEED TO UNINSTALL MODS THROUGH FLUFFY MOD MANAGER BEFORE DOING THIS) - Visual Studio 2022 (For opening dds files) (You can use Adobe Photoshop CS6 as well and it's the same process)
Copy the ui5010_02_iam.tex.11 and paste it in the RETool Folder. This should work when converting 11 files to dds then converting back to 11 files. To get the ui5010_02_iam.tex.11, you need to extract the game files. drag the ui5010_02_iam.tex.11 to the texture-conv from the RETool. Make sure the ui5010_02_iam.tex.11 and the texture-conv are in the same directory. This will convert to dds file. Now you change jukebox music images. Once done, save your dds file. This might take longer depending on the speed of your computer. Once your done, drag ui5010_02_iam.dds to the texture-conv. This will create for you a tex.11 file. Once done, copy the new ui5010_02_iam.tex.11 and paste it in your mod directory.
In your mod directory, you should include the following folders in order ui -> gui -> ui5000 -> tex

In case if the mod doesn't work because patch 7 screwed up some mods.
Here's the tutorial to get this mod working and downgrading dmc5
Note: - Game Directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Devil May Cry 5 - Download Either Patch 5 or Patch 6 because that includes Vergil DLC
2 - Before Extracting the pak 6 file, you need to delete the following files from the game directory. - re_chunk_000.pak.patch_007.pak - DevilMayCry5.exe (Patch 7 version). It doesn't tell you which version you have installed. Just assume you got the recent patch in the game directory.
3 - Extract DevilMayCry5.exe (Patch 6 version) from DevilMayCry5 TU6 No Denuvo.rar to your game directory.
It's an ez step for installing the mod. All of my mods are stored in a zip folder
1. Install the mod u want to download 2. Extract the zip file 3. Move the mod folder to the fluffy mod directory that's inside this folder. For instance, Final Fantasy XVI Battle Tracks Volume 1-3109-1-12-01-1687669989
Apologies for not putting the instructions for all of my mods. I'll post the instructions in the future next time.
