Hello, I installed trhough fluffy and dante kinda flicker when aiming and trying to move and the direction of his attacks during combat seems to move to other directions as well
It only took a couple days for this to become a quintessential mod! I love flinging myself forwards with Gunstinger/Cut-in. The Twosometime stuns are very helpful for fighting Antenoras in Hell & Hell. Ebony and Ivory is overall way more fun to use.
In the base game, I had fun completing the Bloody Palace with E&I despite Ivory Shot not being very useful. It feels a bit more useful with this rebalance.
If you use this mod, fling yourself towards an enemy with the new Cut-in leap forward, then crash downwards with a Helm Breaker. It's fun.
Would it be too much to ask to make an alt version without the changes to Cut-in? I actually like the changes, but sadly I find it a bit awkward for my play style, I just keep dropping it. EDIT: I actually can't do Cut-ins at all besides just the forward roll from Gunstinger, it seems impossible to go lef/right. Also, I'm not sure if it's related to the Fireworks changes, but seems trickier to do reversed Backslides from Fireworks. What I usually do is:
1 - Knock down enemy, get close 2 - Let go of lock-on and do Fireworks away from the enemy 3 - Lock-on and input Backslide
With this mod, Dante ends up turning very slightly when I input the Backslide, and it's enough for the shot to completely miss. I figure it's probably because I'm doing it too slowly as this mod basically removes the recovery frames from Fireworks? Is that it?
Honestly one of the best mods for DMCV. I have one request, do you think you can make it so that Ivory's multi-shot is trick cancel-able? Trying to do E&I hangers can be difficult when I can't immediately trick out of Ivory's longer shooting animation
