Been having a lot of fun playing with this mod, I'm using Faust a hell of a lot more than I was when it was essentially the Microtransaction Gun (as in, not using it at all). I still want to push for neutral style being a launcher, but it's negligible without it. On that note though, I have noticed that specific move has issues when fighting in an arena with a ceiling. Mission 12 is a good example, since you're moving in and out of areas that are all small tunnels. I'll press the button, Dante will strike the pose, but the lightning will not come out. It's not crippling, because all of the other moves work just fine, even the Foward+Style move with multiple lightning strikes will work. But the neutral style just won't if it's a small and closed area.
Is this mod still being worked on at all? I'm really stoked that this exists, it helps make one of the most boring weapons in the game a lot more fun to use. That being said, I do want to make some suggestions: -the purpose of the attack being less for damage and more for stun. Kind of like how balrog punch mode and king cerberus with the lightning moves excel at making enemies dizzy, I feel like it would be neat if this weapon had somewhat weak damage output, but could stun most enemies in less than a few seconds depending on what moves you hit them with. The foward+style move could be an instant stun considering how long it takes for the move to charge up -the neutral style move for Gunslinger being a launcher. For as long as the animation takes and for the attack to actually hit, it feels a little underwhelming that it barely does anything at all, like even knocking them on the ground, all it does it make them twitch a little. I'd think having it send them straight up into the air would be a little better payoff (maybe speeding up the time it takes for the hitbox frames to be active) and then follow it up with air trick to lead into a combo, for example
Very nice mod..Awesome vfx. But can you fix the hattrick. Well I mean I want the movement of the normal hattrick and the timing of the gunslinger unchanged.
