Very good mod, would like the fire effects to be standalone and also some recolors like red and blue(like the mirage edge) and also variants mixed with boss summoned swords effects
don't mean to come off as rude, but I think the crashing issue with this mod is mod specific and not necessarily a user's error, I tried another mod for that same exact weapon using that same exact move and it worked just fine, I even went a step further and tried the Fluffy manager version specified below and it still crashed, the game really just doesn't like that mod, I believe this mod might have worked perfectly fine on a specific version of the game but a later update to the game itself crashed it, I know that this is just a fan made mod and it's purely a project of passion and love, but IF the modder still cares about it maybe they could update it, I'm not making any demands here, this is merely a friendly suggestion from a passer by.
Don't download this mod. It can randomly crash the game. And after you uninstall it, the mod still exist for some fucked up reason. Even if I start up the game completely clean, no mods whatsoever. The f*#@ing flaming sword still shows up on Vergil's back. Don't try to replace the mirage edge with another mod, it won't work. I've tried the force edge and the void sword mod. Both didn't work at all. I even tried deleting some files in the game folder but it only cause the game to stuck on loading screen. So don't download this garbage. This s#*! is intentionally put up here so the developer can f*#@ with people.
Your mod manager either isn't updated, or it's your first time using it so you didn't know closing the mod manager doesn't uninstall anything and deleting the whole manager when mods are installed causes problems.
- Uninstall all mods. - Remove "natives" folder from your DMC5 game files (if such folder exists). - Verify your game files through Steam. - Make sure your Fluffy Manager is updated to the latest version. - Install the mod again. - Do steps above systematically and you'll increase your chances of game not breaking apart on you. Installing mods for DMC5 ain't fully dummyproof - if you're not careful while doing it, Fluffly Manager will start having trouble modifying game archives to the point reinstall will be necessary one way or another. - Next time you think of putting blame on someone for mods not working, gather enough of braincells to be able to consider a teeny-tiny possibility that you might the one f*cking something up, not the creator.
