For those of you wondering why it got a different blue, it's because it was more accurate to the ENDING CUTSCENES of his look. The one in daylight versus the one in hell are different colors.
Nice update, this is much better! Super appreciate these updates by you and KickDemonSSS, good work.
One final request (and you don't need to do this at all):
Are you able to release an optional file that includes only the darker stripes while leaving the rest of Vergil untouched? Same for the Dante mod, would you be able too release an optional file that includes only the brighter red skull and buttons while leaving the rest of Dante untouched? It could allow for some cool combinations of mods.
If you don't want to, that's all good, thanks for the mod and the updates!
I think it'd be a good idea, personally. You can leave the main file with the current version, so you still have the more accurate look and as an optional just release one with the darker stripes, for combination purposes or those that may just want darker stripes. It just offers more options and isn't necessarily about the accuracy of the look you're aiming for if it's an optional file, if that makes sense
If you really don't want to do it, don't! I don't wanna seem pushy lol
I think this is reasonably close in gameplay, but... (sorry, possibly long post warning lol, the images are what make this look "long" - hope this doesn't feel pushy or anything, don't do anything you don't feel like doing!)
It has weird visuals in some cutscenes and missions (it's too blue) and the coat stripes still need to be altered in some way.
I think using the original/vanilla Vergil textures (or the black colour you used in the mod, but without the blue tint - or reduced a lot), the vest re-colour in this mod currently (you nailed that part of the texture set, it looks like) and altered stripes in some form would be the best way to go. The stripes seem affected by lighting... that or the cutscenes use separate textures for some reason (it's weird they used different coloured textures to begin with, so it wouldn't surprise me).
Here the stripes are a darker colour, similar to the coat itself. Like a dark blue.
Here, they're less dark, closer to the original colour if not the original colour, just washed out by lighting.
Might be worth trying to strike a middleground between the colours or finding a colour value that would look like dark blue in darker lighting and a washed out blue in lighter lighting... if possible lol.
Otherwise, good attempt nevertheless! Hope you update this in future.

Forgot to mention, the hair colour you used for Vergil was perfect. Don't change that!
We are waiting for you
By the way, the explanation says that you should put in Dante's coat mod, but does this Vergil coat mod work by itself?
