This is such an amazing look. Thank you for putting it together! For some reason, though, the mod is only affecting the Nero model from the menus. When I actually load into a mission or BP I get Nero's default look. It happens even if I turn off every other Nero mod. I really badly wanna figure out how to get it to work.
That's strange. and you're certain you don't have any other Nero mods installed? I'll take a look at it and make sure the version you can get here on the site works when you start the game.
Alright I downloaded my own file and went to Diverging Point: Nero and it loaded in just fine. I don't know what could be different for your installation vs mine, since I used the most recent file. All I can say is maybe you kept your installation in the .zip file? that's all I got. I'm new to actually making mods so I'm sorry I replied so late and couldn't help more.
Something like X's rising fire color from X4? Or more like a Zero color palette? Honestly I wanted to make a Zero Coat for Vergil, but there's less room to be creative somehow... I'll see what I can do, but it's tough working with Vergil's coat.
Funny you'd say that, V was the first character to come to mind if I ever made a Vile skin. I'm working on something non-MegaMan X for another character at the moment, but if I come back to Nero, I just might make a Vile skin for him...
I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about it, but if I were to do a skin for any Maverick it'd probably be Vile, Sigma is a good villain, but his most iconic design is probably the one from MMX, and in that game he looks just like Buzz Liteyear.
lol you're not wrong about the buzz lightyear look. damn shame he doesn't have more green designs, he'd do good with V's Gilver-styled EX costume. guess that'd go for Vile mk.5 too, though, now that i think of it.
