Devil May Cry 5

Before installing
please ensure you have the latest version of devil may cry 5 with no mods installed by examining your Game Folder. To navigate to your Game Folder, right click on Devil May Cry 5 in your steam library, go to manage, and then click “browse local files”.

Please note that if you have a pirated copy of the game, we will be unable to provide support as your executable may differ significantly enough to prevent the trainer from working correctly.

In the window that opens, you should verify that the contents of your folder match the one in the video. In particular:
  • check that you do not have folders called “Collab Trainer”, “natives”, or “reframework” in your folder.

  • Make sure that you do not have any .dll files in your folder except for amd_ags_x64.dll and steam_api64.dll

  • Make sure your that the size of your DevilMayCry5.exe file is 134,521 kb.

  • Make sure that re_chunk_000.pak, along with patch__001 to patch__007 are all in your folder.

Once you have confirmed this, you are ready to begin installing.

Installation
To install the trainer, you will need 3 things:
  • The fluffy mod manager 5000
  • REFramework
  • The Collab Trainer itself.

Fluffy

To download fluffy, go to the nexusmods page and select manual download, or download directly here. Once downloaded, drag the zip file to your desktop, right click and click “extract to (file name)”. This will create a separate folder for the mod manager on your desktop. Open the folder and run Modmanager.exe. On the mod manager’s first time run, you will need to select the game you are modding; in this case, Devil May Cry 5.

Depending on where your game is installed, fluffy may not automatically locate your Game Folder.
If so, you will need to manually select the executable inside of your Game Folder.
To find the path to your Game Folder, once again right click on Devil May Cry 5 in your steam library, go to manage, and then click “browse local files”.
Then, copy that path and paste it into the window the mod manager opens when you click “Define Game Path”. Finally, select “DevilMayCry5.exe” and fluffy will be correctly configured.

If you already have fluffy installed, I strongly recommend ensuring it is up to date and that you have uninstalled all other mods.

Reframework

REFramework can be installed directly via the fluffy mod manager. To do so, go to the downloads menu, and click on RE Framework.

Then go back to mod list, click on the re framework category, and enable the mod.

To confirm reframework is installed correctly, launch the game. A small window should appear on the top left of your screen, and a folder called “reframework” should be automatically created in your game folder.
Once you've confirmed RE FRamework is working, you can proceed to the final step.

SSSiyan Trainer
Install the latest version of the trainer from the downloads page. Version 1.23c/1.23ca and earlier will not work on the latest version, please use 1.24 or later.

Once downloaded, drag and drop the file onto the fluffy mod manager window, and click "Refresh Mod List".

Clicking on the category will bring up the trainer in fluffy. Please check the version number to ensure you are installing version 1.24 or greater. Clicking on the toggle button will then install the mod.

If installed correctly, the text “Copied 314 files, Modified 17 paths in game archives” should appear.

If you have followed all of these steps, then the trainer should now be installed, and launching the game should make the trainer window appear.
