What controller are you using? If you're using a Generic Controller, that might cause conflicts of having 2 controllers detected (1- your controller, 2 - the emulated Xbox Controller).
i use a wired Xbox controller but every time i wanna uninstall Xinput it gave me a warning that the app is in use. i've end tasked every Xinput related apps thats in task manager and exit the app especially restarting my pc and it still gave me warning that it still in use
If it's an Xbox controller to begin with then you don't need x360ce but you'll need XInput Plus for the triggers to work. There is a YT tutorial about it.
Or install JoyToKey then assign LT and RT as Keyboard Q and E .
