For the crafting parts, is 5000 the in-game limit? or can it be 9999 for like gamer brain purposes. Other than that, fantastic mod. Thank you very much.
Gotcha, thanks for the reply. Out of curiosity, how would i go about making that change? and if i do that, when i go into NG+ do those stacks carry over naturally like the original unmodded game?
Yes, they do. As to how, the archive editor should be helpful. Better than hex editing back in the day - https://www.nexusmods.com/deusexmankinddivided/mods/18
it does, but it's not working great. when moving changed items around it leaves black "occupied" spaces and when dropping stuff to let it autosort after pickup the game crashes when opening the inventory.
oh boy, after 30h into the game i love your mod! it still works as intended, even after so many years. before people complain that it does not work: it looks as stacks already in your inventory are not affected. so if you have or get two stacks of the same item, save your game, discard both stacks, pick them up again and you should be fine.
Hi, i am new here. I wanted to use 2 different mods: this one and another - but both mods replace the file "Game.layer.1.all.archive". Isn't it possible to use 2 mods at the same time? And if it's possible, how? THX for your responses :)
So, how does one edit the archive files? Is it just hex editing still? Also, it could be that updates or different platforms have different layouts, since as of today on GOG, everything appears to be consolidated to layer0 archives. While I understand that Squeenix really shafted fans with DEMD in many ways, including creating an R&D division for files, formats, and processing, hex-crawling a 20GB archive is virtually impossible if one wishes to remain sane.
Assuming you read this, which is a huge assumption, any help would be appreciated with this game. Vanilla just has so many off aspects that it's a nightmare after the first two or three playthroughs.
Just brought game from GOG.com and with this version mod is not working, kindly please update ;)
Update: Alright, I figured it out, you have to drop ammo from inventory and pick up again to make it stack. I thought I could combine it in the inventory like you combine stuff in RE ;) but this isn't how it works. Thanks.

This mod replaces a 16Gb file. Download at your own risk
Pay atention to the name file, so that you know what to replace.
It seems like there are no working mods that makes ammo stack.
