A long shot but any idea how to fix the transparent hands issue?

I should've documented some stuff better, cause with some rtgi version it can be tweaked to work perfectly, but I just accidentally got it working. Some tips I can give are (cause I havent touched this game in almost two years now).

-Using MXAO for hands only and RTGI for the environment (this is what I did for my 1.0 version)

-Tweaking the source code of RTGI and DisplayDepth (changing the 0's and 1's until it works)

-Trying out different RTGI versions, this seemed essential

-Trying out my 1.0 and 1.1 presets to see if one sticks

-Trying to play it with antialiasing ENABLED

Im sorry for these half baked advices, but I just havent touched this game in two years. The only thing I can tell you is that IT IS possible to get it working flawlessly, but its one of the tougher games to do so.

I am currently working on a shader mod for this game and I've got to say, it would help us knowing what specific version of which specific shaders to use besides RTGI.  Do you know the exact versions of the shaders used besides RTGI?  For example, with MXAO, it seems to only put occlusion on JC's hands holding a weapon, and I can not see it

You know you can include shader files and dll in your mod right?  That way no one has to dig through to get it working, but in its current state your shader mod is difficult to get matching your screenshots.

Yeah I havent touched the game in more than a year, I just made a vid (check in videos) to prove some people cause they didnt even believe it was possible to get RTGI working on Deus Ex. But im not really an expert and I simply tweaked it until it worked, I tried to document as many changes as I could but I cant help you any further, im sorry.

i tried this and it dose not seem to work with the latest version of reshade 5.9.2.  display depth shows the depth buffer seems to be set up correctly but it dose not seem to work as none of the depth effect like MAXO.DOF show up when enabling them.

Hey, how did you get RTGI to work on the environment and npc's? For me it only works on JC's hands. I would rather have no RTGI on JC's hands but on the environment and npcs. It seems like the deep access is only available on JC's hands and I don't know why. I have handled ingame with the DX11 render setting as well, turned off HDR, set Antialiasing to 0 etc.
Also added the ReShade.txt with the specified lines... all did nothing.

And where is the RTGI 0.21 (non beta recommended) version available? I have already asked and searched on the Marty McFly Discord and it seems that there are only beta versions of RTGI so I don't really understand.

Back when I had a folder full of different RTGI versions there seemed to be two different 0.21 ones, one being labeled as beta and the other not, that one seemed to be the only one I got working. Honestly I wish I could help you more.

I dont remember antialiasing being an issue with this particular preset, if you copied depth buffer correctly and applied the reshade.txt commands it should be running alright. I did a fresh install after my last update and I logged in everything I could in the description. If I ever do it again I'll see if I missed something.

You need to install reshade first, I'd suggest watching a tutorial for that, as I stated this is designed for Directx11 so that's the setting you should choose in the installation. Other than that you can choose the program to scan my .txt file so as to not install unnecessary suites. You also need RTGI 0.21 for the ray tracing to do effect.

Will it work with newer versions of RTGI?

It might look weird so you will have to readjust the values to your liking, and I havent had much luck myself making it work with other versions, but maybe you'll have.
