Today I tried this mod and I see that for some reason the use of joytokey and xpadder is blocked, it only allows me to use the keyboard and mouse. Why will it be?
Hello i just wanted to say that i love this mod its my default way to run Deux ex community update transcendent and i m happy to see new version! https://github.com/Defaultplayer001/Deus-Ex-Universe-Community-Update-/ i used to take thing directly from github and i fixed the brightness with DX10 renderer from kentie
Believe it or not I've never played this game. I just got it for .79 cents on GOG and figured how could I pass it up. However, being completely new, that WALL of text you call a description page made me want to go fetal and sob. It's all over my head. It seems there are some good additions/patches/etc. but hell if I know what any of that meant. I'll just track for now and see how buggy things are on the fresh install.
Does anyone have any recommendation what texture/graphic enhancer mod would fit or is compatible with this mod? It seems popular graphic enhancer mods come with their own exe like the Helios Texture Overhaul or New Vision.
Hello, i have installed the mod and it seemed run fine, i set 1920*1080 resolution and stufff, but then when i click on "play" there is an error because it dosnt recognize the CD placed in the CD-ROM drive. The problem is that im playing on the GoG version of the game, so i dont have the CD, can you help me?
Install the mod to your Deus Ex Folder, then launch the exe. Windows defender blocked it for me, so I gave it permission.
The mod has it's own setup, complete with a script. And the usual Setup UI. Once the script finishes, type "Y" to confirm the changes made to the games folder.
Let the setup do it's thing, it'll let you know when finished.
I haven't managed to track down really obscure digital versions like the direct2drive and another one who's name escapes me RN, so I can't speak for those. (If anybody has an obscure version please let me know!)
But any currently for sale version, or disc based version will work fine. Tested them all myself!
What do you mean about Revision?
If you mean can it be used with Revision, it and work by it's team members actually is the basis for probably a majority of this project. I haven't quantified it but it seems very likely.
Just off the top of my head these are projects we can thank the Revision team for: Confix (conversation fixes) (Contributed a lot) RF (Revision Framework) RenderExt (Render Extension from Revision) HX (Co-op mod) Launch (Alternate exe) New UnrealEd 2 for Deus Ex by Bjorn HTK Commandlets Deus Ex Editor Fix
The team is really great, been very helpful and shared a lot!
The community update is really largely me asking them and other community members the right way to do things then doing my best to automate it.
Can't express how invaluable everyone's help has been!
That being said, yes. Sorta. It can be installed alongside Revision, but it won't interact with it at all. Both will be installed in their own folders and use your regular DX install purely for assests.
If you mean does it include Revision, that would unfortunately be too large file size wise even if it was allowed..
