About this mod

The ES&D family of railroads, now for Simulator!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This pack deprecates all previous ES&D skin packs.  It contains all previously released skins, updated for the newest version of Skin Manager.  Simulator number support will be updated into this pack, and not the previous packs.

ES&D Skin notes:

The DE2 running gear had a little paint spill, but what is the ES&D if not fun?

The DE6 has an easter egg for binning it.

The SH282 skins have the same easter eggs.  Given that these were partially inspired by a previous ES&D skin created by Antimatter, the easter egg on top of the cab has been retained.  There are also additional easter eggs as follows:
  • just being in the cab
  • for binning the loco itself
  • for binning the tender
  • for running the tender out of coal

The SH282 skins are identified as follows:
  • ES&D Parrot uses Hyce's channel logo on the tender
  • ES&D Heraldry uses the ES&D logo from Hyce's merch on the tender
  • ES&D Antimatter is Antimatter's original skin that inspired the other SH282 skins.  It is unmodified from the original version featured in Hyce's videos.

ES&DT Skin Notes:

The DE2 running gear had a little paint spill, but what is the ES&D if not fun?

The DE6 has an easter egg for binning it, and one on top of the cab.
  • The 2 skins ES&DT Kenosha and ES&DT Kenosha Beta have static numbers

The SH282 skins all have at least one unique easter egg, but all easter eggs are in the same locations.  There are also additional easter eggs as follows:
  • just being in the cab
  • for binning the loco itself
  • for binning the tender
  • for running the tender out of coal
  • an ode to Antimatter's original easter egg on the roof

The skin naming is as follows:
DE2:
  • Alpha and Bravo differ only in the roundel used.
  • Bravo says "Splody Beanz Line"
DE6:
  • Alpha and Beta are not in D&RG style lettering, Beta uses the "Splody Beanz Line" roundel
  • Gamma and Delta use the D&RG style lettering, Delta is "Splody Beanz Line"
  • Kenosha and Kenosha Beta are "Spirit of Kenosha" skins.  They have static numbers, and Beta has safety stripes on the nose
SH282 skins are Western Maryland inspired, because what better represents the ES&D than a fireball:
  • Simple has no fireball
  • Alpha is "Give em the beanz
  • Bravo is "Splody Beanz Line"
  • Charlie is the bunned K37 from the original ES&D hearald
  • Kenosha is the "Spirit of Kenosha"

SD&S Skin Notes:

The DE6 has an easter egg on top of the cab.

SH282 skins are RGS inspired:
  • Alpha is based on the current RGS 20 paint
  • Beta is based on the "Clipper" paint that RGS 20 once wore

Notes For All Skins:

  • The cabeese have an easter egg inside.  And our sander failed mid restoration, so we couldn't remove all the rust.
  • The cabeese also currently do not work properly on Simulator.  The skin mapping is unchanged from Overhauled, but there are mirroring problems that previously relied on EasyTex to fix
  • No DM3 or DH4 skins have easter eggs
  • All S060 skins have easter eggs for binning them
  • All S060 skins have cab easter eggs.  Intended reading is as follows:
  • Enter cab and read the hatch
  • Open the hatch and read the top of the hatch
  • Close the hatch
