I only got to play with this thing a little bit in Overhauled. I really hope this will be updated once locomotive support comes back to CCL, because this fun little engine looks right at home in Derail Valley.
I just picked up two models of this locomotive in HO scale. Can confirm, the HO scale models (made by BRAWA before the fall of the Berlin wall - they both say "Made in W. Germany!") are just as wimpy as this ingame locomotive, but I still love 'em. By far my favorite part about these ingame is not having to climb stairs or ladders to get into the cab!
The model is beautiful but I'm curious about the specifications, how does this compare to the vanilla shunter in terms of load mass, fuel capacity, sand capacity, oil capacity etc?
It's a fun challenge because this thing is completely wimpy! It struggles to move more than four or five cars on level ground, but it's not poor coding or a bug; that's just how tiny this thing is. I use it mainly to shove my caboose around the yards or as a way to travel from one end of the yard to the other in style.
If that's related to the brake lever: read below. If not, Ignore
Füllen, or Fill in English fills the HL (Hauptluftleitung) which roughly translates to Main braking pipe. With this function you can force the HL to be over the standard 5 bar, or manuall do stuff. Keep away if you don't know what you're doing. I know what i am doing but even my trainer told me to never use it, and we even had loco with failures where you suddenly had 7 bar or so :P
Don't use it if you are not sure what you're doing. idk if it's even modelled, a Lösezug would be nice too^^ Edit: Neither tried I this mod yet, nor do i know the real loco, I might do in future, but for now I don't Edit after the Edit: I now tried this mod, and I know you're not talking about the braking stuff: But, as fas as the fill wheel power control is related: IRL you wouldn't be able to use the remote with that. You'd need to update the controls so you can use the remote. That's why Br 294 exist and hot completely different controls to the 290
Hey, i guess you mean the Füllen on the throttle wheel right? On the real Köf, the throttle wheel has 4 position, the first one beeing Abstellen (Shutoff), the second beeing Null (Zero) which is for engine idle, the thrid position beeing Füllen, which is for flooding the gearbox with hydraulic oil and the fourth position is the variable throttle. But all of this doesnt affect the gameplay because in Derail Valley its just the throttle from 0-100% so dont worry about it, i guess its not possible to recreate all of the settings the real Köf II has because of game limitations, or the creator just didnt know this.

Translate doesn't seem helpful, as it reports it as "to fill".
-Thanks

Gotta be higher
2) What power rating is it?
3) Is it compatible with Zeibachs realism overhaul?
