Okay very good to hear ya are working on it :) thanks for your reply and looking forward to the update, thank you very much for taking the time to mod. I'm Still very new to modding DV Sim.
Had to uninstall because the modlist wouldn't stop scrolling up. If you're going to listen to any and all axis based controller input, at least offer an option to turn that off. Since pedals will often rest at one end of the axis rather than the center!
This may be actually a bug. It should use only mouse pointer. Unless it's coming from other mod. Basically it uses vanilla in game UI navigation, so shouldn't act different.
I'll look into this.
EDIT: Well this may be vanilla bug, since vanilla doesn't use lists anywhere so it never got catched.
Since you can't test for yourself, I wanted to quickly inform you of the status of the mod in VR. Currently, your custom menu button works, and when the mod menu is open, you can hear the selection noises if you sweep over the menu with your controller. However, the menu itself is covered by a grey square, making it practically unusable.
Ok, so the first few times I tested the mod that grey box showed up, but now it's nowhere to be found. Instead, the menu is actually showing up somewhat properly, but some of the icons are out of place in my right eye, and the mod menu is underneath the pause menu. The only thing I changed was that I removed the multiplayer mod from my game - so maybe there is some kind of incompatibility there?
Edit: I was able to record the right eye view of what's happening. If you want, I'll DM it to you. Also, sorry for the grey square mix up.
You can just upload it to streamable or something and post link here. But it may be hard to fix, without any way to force vr mode or emulate it to analize how VR canvas is setup.
Alright then, it's up on youtube. Not entirely sure why youtube doesn't offer an option to not have it be a short, but it is what it is I guess https://youtube.com/shorts/JBLWb8-lOCE
Seems like layers works differently in VR, technically in vr mode I could open that menu on side of main menu or something like that, but that also doesn't solve that weirdly looking buttons.

If you have any suggestions what to change or add to that menu, feel free to post it below.
When reporting bugs it's helpful to include also Player.log from \AppData\LocalLow\Altfuture\Derail Valley\ it helps to track errors.

I'll look into that, but no promises.
