    The handbrake mod makes it impossible to complete the job because it does not recognize the wagons. Which I use are DVRouteManager, HeadsUpDisplay, LocoLightsMod - Build #92
    Or It solve this? I believe you have to have the handbrakes applied on a certain % of cars before it will accept the job as complete

      Yes, having the handbrake enabled on at least 10% of the cars should allow you to turn in the job.

    There seems to be an issue where the handbrakes on all active cars are rapidly going on and off until you fully apply to all cars. Sounds like a rapid squeaking.

      Was coming here for the same thing. You can set the spawned handbrake to 0 but then that makes having the air brakes mod quite annoying in yards.

    I'm finding this extremely difficult to use in VR due to the position of the hand brake wheel and what amounts to a low ceiling I suppose. Am I missing something in how to operate these things?

      Which cars are you having trouble with? You can teleport onto the platform on the boxcars. I may move the gondola wheels a bit lower.

    An absolute must have, both for immersion alone and also just to use the air brake mod fullstop. Perhaps you could add a few options to make the mod a little easier to live with for more casual players. One to toggle whether cars newly spawned at a yard have their handbrakes set, so that people who aren't using the air brake mod don't have to unset the handbrakes on their trains. And a second option tied to the previously mention option, that will determine whether all cars or just the leading and trailing cars have their handbrakes set, helping reduce the number of handbrakes you have to set and unset in long trains. The number of cars at the leading and trailing ends that have the handbrake set would also ideally be set to change based on the the weight and length; a very long consist of empty cars at only 150T might have 3 or 4 cars at the ends of the train with their handbrakes set while a loaded train at 650T of the same length might only have 1 or 2 cars at each end with their handbrakes set. And under a certain threshold of consist length, all cars have their handbrake set regardless of other factors; setting and unsetting the middle two handbrakes on a 4 car train isnt much work but setting and unsetting the middle 12 handbrakes on a 16 car train is quite the hassle if the middle handbrakes might not be needed in order to couple.

    The handbrake crawls on from 0 in non-VR mode. It doesn't stay released while the train is in motion.
