A mod pack containing the Nightmare Challenge Mode and the Hellscape Graphics Pack. Makes the game incredibly difficult for veteran players and turn Boletaria into a hellish nightmare.

This is a mod pack and contain two main mods:
-Hellscape Graphics Pack: Turns the game into a hellish nightmare. All maps have their visuals changed.
-Nightmare Challenge Mode: Makes the game incredibly difficult for veteran players.
You can install either or both of them.

Hard Mode:
Features:
-Maximum HP now is 1000 HP at all levels
-Natural Physical Defense reduced to 0 at all levels, only armor provides Physical Defense now
-Grass healing has been nerfed
-Second Chance miracle is disabled
-Duping is fixed and no longer possible
-Bosses are rendered as Black Phantoms (cosmetic change; only visuals were altered and they retain the same stats)
-Black Phantom version of enemies will spawn in all World Tendencies
-Monk's Head Wrappings can now be purchased from the Once Royal Mistress in 3-1 Latria for 50k souls
Extreme Mode:
Features:
-Maximum HP now is 1HP
-Second Chance miracle is disabled
-Duping is fixed and no longer possible
-Bosses are rendered as Black Phantoms (cosmetic change; only visuals were altered and they retain the same stats)
-Black Phantom version of enemies will spawn in all World Tendencies
-Monk's Head Wrappings can now be purchased from the Once Royal Mistress in 3-1 Latria for 50k souls
Notes:
-Fall damage deals a set percentage of the total health in damage, that means with 1 HP the game won't register fall damage because it can't deal less than 1 damage.
-Levelling up will not increase your HP
-Being in soul form will not lower your HP and similarly Cling Ring will not increase it either
Compatibility:
The Graphics Pack mod is not compatible with other graphics mods and will overwrite them completely. The Challenge mode is a gameplay mod and is not compatible with other gameplay mods and will overwrite them completely. The gameplay mod alters the save file and will only work proper on a fresh new save file.
Requirements:
-RPCS3 emulator for PC or a CFW(custom firmware) PS3
-Either a backup of the disc version of the game for the RPCS3 emulator(if playing on PC) or a backup of the game copied to the hard drive on a CFW PS3(if playing on a actual PS3)
Installation:
1- Go to your Demon's Souls backup folder and create a backup of the "param" folder. The path is "Your Demon's Souls folder" > PS3_GAME > USRDIR
2- Download the file and extract the "param" folder from the mod and place it in your Demon's Souls folder where the original "param" folder was, it should ask you to overwrite, say yes
3- RPCS3: Go to Dev_HDD1 on your RPCS3 folder and delete your cache folder if playing on the emulator
4- PS3: Reload your backup with your backup manager of choice or restart your PS3
