Cinematic, meaning what? The description fails to say what choices the mod has made. From the picture it looks like lighting color changed to be more red, distant backgrounds are made blurry, and ambient occlusion or something like that is jacked up with large prominent shadow outlines under every object.
People should be explaining what their mod does, and what the reasoning behind the choices is. "More cinematic" doesn't mean anything, and means a different thing to every different person.
Don't know you but I'm playing with 30 fps and I experienced no flickering whatsoever! Anyway thanks for the reshade, the game feels like a proper remastered now!
What folder specifically do I put the config into in RPCS3? Putting it just in the main RPCS3 folder that has the .exe in it changes nothing in-game and pressing home does nothing. This seems like the best and most loyal reshade I've seen, I used to use Boletaria Reborn but it was a bit too different from the original for my liking.
Big apologies for the late reply. Nexus mods for some reason doesn't tell me when someone responds lol.
So basically what I did is I followed the instructions on how to install another demons souls reshade but instead installing the file from this mod. Hope this helps
Decided to try your reshade first cause you answered my questions on reddit, and I haven't seen a need to try the rest. Looks great and plays nice with Boletaria Reborn. Sometimes when you get the camera in a weird spot it blurs things it shouldn't, but that's a minor issue.
Ya it normally looks good, but sometimes you'll be on an elevator or something and it will zoom in cause you got behind something and everything goes blurry. So it looks weird at certain points but it's fine.
One suggestion I have is to add another hotkey for disabling the adaptivefog. I did it in mine already (left colourfulness on and used the same hotkey actually), but it really helps in 5-2 where otherwise the background becomes much lighter. I also prefer it in upper Latria but that one's pretty fine either way.
Just saw on your images. Are you running the game in 720 or 1080? I don't know if this would matter but the chromatic aberration looks really strong (on your hud). Or did you just increase it?

It's so you can get character blur when you look up etc.

I wish I had a better gpu that could handle this at full resolution :(
