while this does look MUCh better, its something youll literally never notice in game unless youre angling your camera for close screenshots of peoples faces. great for screenshots, but using it for anything else just reduces the memory you have for other mods.
i stand corrected, and it really speaks to the level of effort they put into the textures in the first place. ill have to slap these on my install, cause they do look really good.
Thank you! Modding Demon's Souls is my love and of course I will continue with it. I just need sometimes longer breaks to get some life because it's extremely time consuming. I'm going to update my old ReShade presets tho. Umbasa
Thanks for this mod Do you think it would be possible to upscale the loading screens of the game? They look really low res and I've tried doing it myself but to no avail
I can't quite seem to figure out how to get this mod to appear in game. Followed the directions to a tee and extracted the Facegen folder into my Demon Souls PS3 game folder. Nothing. Are the original and enhanced files supposed to be the same size?
Was able to get a simple button glyphs mod working by doing the same process. I'm not dumb to basic modding.
Yes, they are supposed to be the same size. Idk... are you sure you extracted right Facegen folder? Because one located in backup folder contains original files. I know thats obvious but everything is possible. Also you can try to directly replace "facegen.fgbnd" file located in "PS3_GAME/USRDIR/facegen/" instead of extracting folder itself. If using RPCS3 try to delete all cache files too.
