IMPORTANT: Mark your server as modded and make sure people are ok with it until Ghost Ship Games adds mod support, so random joiners expecting regular Hazard 5 don't insta-die, rage quit and get angry at you on Reddit.
This mods simply makes the game spawn more enemies without changing anything else. This means swarms will be larger, swarmer nests will shoot more swarmers, nexus will pop more swarmers, etc
This is as close to vanilla as possible, so you can expect normal game behavior apart from the increased spawn. Also makes normal Deep Dive fun again, less boring ;)
To use it, press "N" in the spacerig or during a mission, Make sure the mod is activated and move the slider to select the multiplier.
Features
- Higher enemy count for an alternate higher difficulty, spawning tons of enemies.
- Has a slider for spawn multiplier, to adjust in-game for instant effect
- No XP boost or any other modification, this is just for fun
NOTES:
- Escort mission increased flying rocks can be overwhelming, I recommend the mod to reduce their health
- You should use the mod to improve Doretta's damage resistance (as you will be busy with enemies)
- If you are having too much trouble keeping up with ammo/nitra, use my Cheaper resupply pods mod
Installation
Requirements
To host this mod, make sure you have a decent CPU and graphics card or you will drop frames. YOU NEED these 2 mods:
- Blueprint Mod Manager (To activate the mod)
- Custom Enemy Cap (To prevent de-spawning of enemies above the engine limit of 60)
Copy either
- Swarm Size Control 1.1_P.pak
in Deep Rock Galactic's Paks directory:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Content\Paks
Uninstall
Just delete the mod file from the game folder
