i dont get the reshade´s. the ones i observerd (oncluding this one) are just creating a darker unrealistic environment and ugly coloring in some places like the stones in the second picture. also: is this site making all these pictures so low quality or is this your resolution ? ive seen this with literally every reshade and 99% of other mods
Hi, giving your reshade a try, thanks for efforts, for providing before/after (amazing how many mod authors don't) and sharing in the spirit of DS.
I'm only an occasional reshade user for certain games. Installing latest reshade and have not been asked to choose render API before. I assume Dx12 for DS tho reshade offers a half-dozen choices even tho DS was specifically chosen on reshade set up. The Direct3D choice seems the only one relevant but Direct3D is subcode within DirX and not all devs choose to use Dir3D but use overall environment of DirX. Search for DS render API turns up nothing BTW.
Then resahde install offers you to select from a long list of 'effect packages', but you don't mention whether any of these are required (like the 'Standard Effects' utility shaders package), orrecommended for your mod, or perhaps these conflict with what you are trying to achieve? 'Shaders by brussell' effect offers automatic UI detection, is this helpful? Left wondering, personally not interested in experimenting... It is also usual to provide users with instructions to uninstall your mod, even if most may be familiar with how to do so.
EDIT: this mod does not work after last game patch Dec2020
