hello! this mod is amazing, tons of new features the vanilla game doesnt have. However, having such a huge mod affects my other pre-existing mods. is it possible to make the clothes, items, weapons and events as their own separate download? (there probably is a way to split them up via selectively choosing folders but im stupid, so please any help would be great)
Death Road in general does NOT play nicely with mixing mods at ALL. There's not much I can suggest for you on this front, unless you want to manually stitch together png sheets and variables to make the game not have a stroke. Sorry.
Hi, great mod btw. In the Customise Party Area, the Red Difficulty Robot, I want to increase the difficulty beyond 300%. Which file do I need to edit? Thanks in advance.
You can change the difficulty whenever you want, actually. Hit ` to bring up the command line, and then paste this in:
road{ x to road-difficulty }
where x is your desired multiplier. So for example, road{ 10 to road-difficulty } would be ten times the usual zombies.
EDIT: actually, looking into this made me realize that the difficulty bots in the party room also needed to be adjusted. road-difficulty affects how hard the current day is, but diff-scalar is what adjusts the difficulty of the game as time goes on. Thus, you should also run this command:
road{ x to diff-scalar }
with x working the same as the road-difficulty line.
Well, this is definitely odd, especially since two people are having this issue now. Just to make sure though:
-This is on the pc version? -Is it up to date (ie on the OMENTUM patch)? -Are you using any other mods (mods do not mix, if that's the case)? -Are you using cloud saving for any of your game files? This has caused issues before since it will try to overwrite files after installing the mod.

Some cool additions to the craftable items/weapons pool could be inspired from the Dead Rising Series!
Hey man it's ya boi again. Just spitting out some random ideas for the mod.
-New Vehicles to find randomly or through new special events. Tank, APC, Cyber Truck, Lamborghini etc.
-Boss Fight Events: Fighting these bosses can drop a random assortment of loot such as food, meds, weapons, or a character upgrade, the weapon could also maybe be boss fight exclusive. Each boss fight has its own unique area.
-New Infected/Enemy Types: Fast Zombie, Fallen Survivor Zombie (This Zombie drops a backpack upon death that contains random loot.) Brute (A tall and muscular looking zombie that has the ability to pick you up and throw you if he manages to grab you. The throw deals 1 damage and slows you down for a bit. Riot Zombie (Has a chance to drop a gun or a riot shield or temporary armor that gives you an extra 1-3 temporary hitpoints this would differ from the regular health upgrades.) Around the 5th day there could be a small chance to encounter a few bandits on any level. The bandits mostly wield melee weapons and drop their weapons and loot on death. All of these enemy additions could be toggleable from the in game customize party menu and by default all enemy additions would be off. These enemy additions would also be a nice combo with the difficulty selector you have to further enhance the pain and suffering lol.
- Music Player Option: Play different songs including custom ones not sure if this is possible to implement.
New enemies is something that I really want to do, but I'm still researching that potential aspect of the game. Apparently, Death Road to Sycamore had cultists and whatnot that you could fight. When I have time, I'll try to comb through that mod and see how it was done exactly.
Just here to say that the newest patch increased the limit of perks and traits to 64 so certain traits no longer need to be removed to make space. Also, for checking which files got updated steamdb records all of them if you check the buildid so you don't need to manually sort through all of them. I hope this helps in updating the mod. OMENTUM update: https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/14772717/ July 12 Hotfix: https://steamdb.info/patchnotes/14967405/
The trait/perk cap increase was probably the best part of the update, honestly. With v25a, I've reinstated all of the traits that I originally removed. Also yeah, RocketCat told me about the steamdb site and that helped out immensely, though it was still a huge slog to get through.
For those who still want to play this mod in the new update here is what you have to do for a quick fix. You need to replace the mods gstats in the deathforth folder with the latest version of the game. To do this simply play the latest version of the game unmodded and browse your local files in DR2C and open the deathforth file. From there scroll down till you see a DF File named gstats. I recommend you copy and paste this DF file to your desktop temporarily. From there download the mod if you haven't already and copy and paste the mods content like usual but replace the gstats in the deathforth folder with the new one you stored on your desktop. And then from there you should be good to go! Happy Zombie Slaying!
And with it comes my hiatus. The mod still works for OMENTUM, though it overwrites all of the new additions that came with the update. I don't know if I'll ever retool the mod since it will require manually checking every file to see what got changed.
