Hey, anyone else have the issue of the visor itself not changing color but the glow does? There a fix for it?

Fixed the issue it seems, I guess it was a load order issue

I was having the same issue, Visors, rig design, rig color had to go at the top of load (in that order) and it worked for me.

    hello. good day
Any chance of getting a white visor? would combine well with the White RIG Color
Even if it is not possible, I congratulate you for this mod, my favorite is the lime color :D

Thank you! Thank you for requesting more colors! Almost nobody has made any requests for colors or styles for any of my re-textures. I appreciate you asking for more than what I've included so far.

I have just added a White visor color re-texture to v1.1, but the lens flare when viewing straight on is still aqua-tinted, at least for now. I will see if I can include additional texture tweaks to this White re-texture to get rid of the aqua lens flare when viewing straight on. Even though those textures are used elsewhere in the game, making those lights White instead of having an aqua hue shouldn't affect gameplay too much at all like it would with red, orange, green or fuscia changes.

I have several other colors that I never completed that I really should work on and add to the download. As there is the issue of only being able to 'safely' alter a few of the textures that affect the visor lens flares, trying to only have colors that blend well over the unaltered aqua textures has been a trial. Yellow is particularly difficult to look alright. Even the orange color I offer is only orange-tinted and actually looks very close to being red. This is due to the remnant aqua tint causing problems.

Thank you , I'll try it.
I wish I could help in that sense, I have worked with textures before but in a very basic way.
For now, with the white visor it's perfect, I'm using a "cold" Reshade, the aspect helps a lot to combine with the aqua tint
cheer up, your work is really good

I just wanted to comment on the Steam version of Dead Space 2 and running the TexMod tool.

The section of the "how to" on all of this authors mods - the Origin steps also works for Steam. Otherwise you get a Steam launch error when clicking "run" from the TexMod tool.

Hope this helps anyone still using these.

It's a mod that I've been hoping for so much!!!
but when i aim the weapon, or even some lights in the background of the game change color to like visor color  :'-|
ex: line gun's mine, flash on a plasma cutter, etc..

Can you modify visor color so that can only change it?

Hi. Thank you for mentioning this aspect of the mod. As they re-used the same textures on multiple areas in the game, I intentionally didn't alter some of the textures used in the visor light that are also used in many places elsewhere in the game. Altering those textures as well would have resulted in most lights in the game becoming the same as the altered visor color.

While I did get the mod down to only altering 4 of the visor textures, I believe this is the minimum amount that must be altered to change the visor color without looking too noticeably odd while also trying to keep from altering the ones that were re-used on other lights elsewhere in the game.

Apparently one or more of them are still used elsewhere in the game on other lights that I didn't notice and which you have. I thought these 4 were safe.

I'm sorry, I don't think fewer textures than this can be altered without reverting parts of the visor light back to being aqua so it would be a mix of the default aqua color and the altered color...which does not look good at all to me.

No! Rather, thank you for making this mod. It was caused by the production company Visceral lol
Even if it's a little sad, I'll use it with thanks!! Watch out for the COVID!
