You'll need to use a program called TexMod to load the textures into the game. Get TexMod and select the DeadSpace.exe as the target application. Then click the folder icon and select the .tpf file that comes with the mod download. Then you should be able to start the game and see if the new texture has applied.
If it hasn't applied you may want to test it on a cracked copy of the game. For some reason I had issues running Texmod on Steam and Origin versions. It has something to do with security. I had the most luck moding a cracked version of a game. But that might not apply to everyone.
Here is a video explaining it better than I did. (its really not hard, i think this guy over explains it tbh) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1s5kfMTBOA&ab_channel=SnQQpyDog
I think I got side tracked by making other versions of the lvl 5 suit like Obsidian and Scorpion. I should finish the bloody lvl 5 but I just haven't had the time lately.
Sadly not working for me. Texmod can start the game (tried both origin and steam) with your tpf file selected. However I do not see any difference on the suit compared to unmodded game. I am running: - Win 10 - Texmod v0.9b beta - Deadspace Steam 1.0.0.222 - Deadspace Origin 1.0.0.222 - Your TPF file: Suit 2 Bloody.tpf - In-game resolution: 3840x2160 (nvidia DSR, my monitor's native is 2K)
Did you run it on 4K resolution? Any Idea how to see why your textures are not being applied? Thanks.
I had similar issue and the only way I could for sure make it work is running it on a cracked version of the game. I think it has something to do with Steam and Origins security not allowing TexMod to make changes. I have no clue why. Its unfortunate but I have yet to find a way around it.

I have never used Texmod and have no idea how to install this with it.

Given that you end up with a lvl 5 suit that you use for all future playthroughs, why wouldn't you make a bloody lvl 5 suit?
