Think anyone knows how to do a mod on unlocking Survivors with additional survivors? Someone online some years back did that mod, but disabled the link and quit the website since then. =( https://deadrising2mods.proboards.com/thread/2828/survivors-recruitable-early-more-safehouse
Hey man I don't know if you're still around, but what files do I keep in order to ONLY extend mission timers? And how did you mange to modify the timers? They stress me out and I want way more time if possible. THANKS
Main mod is to be extracted in to the Data folder and replace files when asked. For the DLC file you place inside 'Gamemodes' folder and overwrite .bin file already present
Thanks for this cool mod. Currently playing the game with the mods. And it's really make my day good. More challenges, More Fun. Thanks for the MOD, GOODIE MODDER.
(Some pycho's are hard to kill with this mod, ex: Red, General, Bikers, and the dude with the flamethrower in his D.)
I'll try reinstalling Dead Rising and give it a try but I couldn't guarantee anything. I think there was a reason why I skipped the DLC in the first place.. but I don't remember.
lol this is embarrassing. I just can't figure out what any of these files do anymore let alone determine what is DLC or isn't. Here are the mod tools if you want to experiment.
I remember this being a handful before and it took A LOT of restarts to test things exactly.
Hmm, I don't know much about it as well. Maybe you can ask for any help. Surely someone out there will help you out :D Do you know someone called Stipo?
I just got done playing with the mod (hard version) and to be honest... I don't really notice any difference. I've downloaded the file, (which was the harder version) downloaded the DLC file and dragged it to "gamemode" Then I've put the file(s) into the Dead Rising folder and ran in administer. Did I do something wrong?
As long as the DLC .bin is the one being used inside of the "gamemodes" folder then I couldn't tell what the issue is. I booted my game up for each DLC (started a new game) and zombies are SUPER aggressive, deal at least 1+1/2 bars of damage and take extra hits before dying.
Also, the DLC update apparently isn't affected by the main mod files. So Normal and Hard don't matter. Nightmare or not-Nightmare is the DLCs new difficulty scaling.
There should be a gamemodes folder with a gamemodes.bin files inside. Replace that file with my DLC update's gamemodes.bin. So if you're installing my main mod and DLC update then install my main first then replace the file with my DLC update file last.
Finally, it worked :D Thanks! To be honest, I'm quite surprised that you actually decided to make the DLC version compatible even though not many people go on the DR 3 mods. So thanks a lot! Can we be friends?
I did, and I don't think it works. The DLCs seems to have their own files for things separate from the base game. At least from what I can tell. I may be mistaken though.

I'm using Romero Zombie/More zombie mods, so I don't think I want/can use anything else in this mod.
Psycho, Zombies, Survivors all share the same file as far as damage and health values go.

Also this help me in DLC too.
They are so overpowered that they kill in like 2-3 hits.
I think it all falls under different files.

I'll be giving Dead Rising 3 some time.
Download the update and you'll definitely notice a difference.

And yeah Dead Rising 3 doesn't have too many mods at all, I'm surprised.
